Another problem. the phone turns off when you turn on the music and put it in your pocket. I tried different players but the same. I use wireless headphones. turn on the music, the screen turns off and after a few seconds the phone turns off. sorry for bad english. is any fix for that ??

I have same problem. I'm listen music over bluetooth headphone, put phone on my pocket, after 10 minutes, power off and the phone too hot, look like overheat.

There are BT problems with this ROM. I have bought Mi Band 4 few days ago and have the same problem. When I go to shop, my phone "dies" in my pocket. The only thing I can do is to reboot it. I tried to solve that problem, but without result. I simply flashed PE Plus ROM by hung2408. Now I have no problems with BT and perfectly working NFC. :good:

Hello, Shreejoy Dash! Of course, your ROM is awesome, but there is a problem: NFC doesn't work on Redmi Note 8T. Somebody tells about incompatibility with ro.boot.hwversion 19.39.0. I don't know anything about that. NFC icon is gray, so I can't turn it on. I use last TWRP (3.4.0-1) and Pixel Experience Plus (18-06-2020). Everything works nice except NFC. Note: I checked build.prop and see "ginkgo" everywhere, not "willow". Is it normal?
Can you please provide some fix? Thank you very much!

I think this is not true. On my 8T NFC is working very well and I can pay with Google Pay thanks to Magisk Canary. Please make sure to always flash the newest firmware for 8T. I'm sure then it will work.

Newest 8T phones go with 19.39 hardware version, which is not supported by most of ROMs. I flashed PE Plus by hung2408, now NFC works perfectly.

Has anyone come up with a solution to the blackout issue after putting it in your pocket?

I might have to revert back to the Feb version as this is the wife's phone and my ears are burning from the screaming.

Try turning the pocket detection off and then on again once.

I remember reading that somewhere in this thread itself.

Hope it helps you and your better half. ??

This problem is solved in all new roms, workaround for me was to deny using location all time to any app, allow it to use it only when app in use.

I just noticed that this rom is far behind from all the other roms. I'll try this workaround but if it doesn't work I'll be in the dog house until I can fix the wife's phone.

I've been successful with LineageOS in the past on other phones and I like the barebones of it, what alternative roms have worked for you?

Hello guys, thread is open now. And i hope new build will come with february patch but before that I would request everyone to have patience within them, As personally for me, I come from Xiaomi Redmi 5 (rosy) so comparing ginkgo to rosy things are very much different. So to be honest it will take me some time to adapt to this device and help with some contributions also due to college and various projects I am having less time to catch things but I will again request everyone to wait for things run properly.
