Hello

If I use such custom rom will my device be secuire when I use graphic key on lock screen? Can somebody unlock encrypted locked device through custom recovery and get access to my data?

As you can see some of the blame is on Huawei part, because they were not able to release a proper kernel source code for our device !
They released a kernel source code which it's can't even boot on stock Huawei firmware ...

IMHO, Huawei's support always sucks.

This is my 1st and last device from this company. They even can't provide relevant secuirity patches for most devices.

Starting with the next update you should not worry about security issues anymore, as this will be set to maximum

So nobody will able to skip password and encryption through flashing something in custom recovery in next version of your custom roms?

In this case we need a locked bootloader ...

Edit:

Even a device with a stock firmware with a locked bootloader it's not 100% safe , because if we think in your way, someone can take your device , unlock the bootloader and install a custom recovery and than hack your device .

Without a device in my hands I can't do anything for MediaPad M3 !

There it's a huge difference between M3 and M3 Lite , the M3 it's based Huawei Kirin 950 and M3 Lite it's based on Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 msm8940.

But of course I could try to make some custom Roms too for your device if someone offers to donate me a device.

After I formatted the SD card on my computer and reinserted it, the issue was resolved.

I just managed to fix data encrypt/decrypt support for TWRP and any custom ROM based Android 10 !

Please take a look here, right now my custom ROMs based Android 10 are the same security level like on stock Huawei firmware !

Mediapad M3 CPN-W09 does not work with twrp-3.3.X-X.img you posted. With 3.0.1 image will maintain adb/fast connection aand boot normaly to MUI. With 3.1.3 will brick in twrp logo screen. Something I'm doing wrong?1 any ideas will appreciate.

Yes, you did something wrong ... is the fourth time someone has the same problem, please read how this problem was solved, I have already explained three times, I think it is enough!

I guess that you need to make a clean install ( wipe all into twrp apart Internal/External Storage ) !

Also you need to do all what is state here before to update to 3.3.1-3 , and I guess you can use only LOS 17.1 for moment after twrp was updated to 3.3.1-3 !

Done all described operation. Install LOS 17.1 and when system boot after while is reboot to TWRP.

What did you use on your device ( twrp version ? and ROM type ? ) before to update twrp to 3.3.1-3 and install Pixel Experience ??

It might be that i do something wrong.
I back on twrp-3.3.1-1 and install system and works, so i stay a this point and try again maybe in future when new version appears.
