Please, if you are on twrp 3.3.1-3, can you check if Encryption work on this ROM ? Thanks !

EDIT :
I guess it's working if you already fixed data partition size !

Well checking my table is not encrypted, but in TWRP 3.3.1.3. Let me have this right, to encrypt my tablet I need to be in TWRP 3.3.1.2?! or I could still encrypt the tablet while in ver 3.3.1.3?!

Accordingly with your instruction, I never considered encryption as always on nordvpn; not the best for security other than a habit of using vpn.
But yes I'll try to encrypt the tablet M3; just give me the ok of running data partition on twrp 3.3.1.3 or do I have to downgrade to TWRP 3.3.1.2 to make it work?!
After data partition regardless TWRP x.x.x.x; I need to Install Pixel 7.1 and able to encrypt the tablet?!

Petrus; you must be busy. So I did fixed partition accordingly with your detailed instructions and succeeded. I install Pixel 7.1 and run smoothly. After two automatic resets the tablet is encrypted. Thanks much.
So yes, Huawei Mediapad M3 lite with Pixel 10 "encripted" running like a charm, Very nice work!!! Thanks again.

Ok, thank you for confirming ... I don't think it matters if you fix data partition size in twrp 3.3.1-2 or 3.3.1-3 ... that's why I guess it's working !

I have just a simple question: if I get root for the Media Pad 3 Lite, first I need to unlock the bootloader. This is only possible now with a code that I buy from some website, I learned already. But what happens if I unlock the bootloader, will the Mediapad do factory reset? All installed apps are gone and all settings?
Thanks.

Ps4 controller support?

Great Rom, thanks to the developer!

Is anyone else having trouble getting a controller to work? I'm trying to get ps4 remote play working. The tablet recognised the controller but the controller doesn't function, and isn't recognised in the PS4 remote play or other android games.

Thanks!

    Could you repair the camera???

It's working only video recording ... at this moment I have no solution to fix photo camera, thanks for understanding and patience :)

    EDIT :
    - the device is quite old, I don't think that someone uses the camera to take pictures with a tablet ... you could take better pictures with a nowadays smartphone
    - don't take it as an excuse, I really tried to fix photo camera for a few months ... until I realized that without a proper kernel released from Huawei there is low chances to fix this issue !

As you can see some of the blame is on Huawei part, because they were not able to release a proper kernel source code for our device !

They released a kernel source code which it's can't even boot on stock Huawei firmware ... to be able to boot on a custom ROM based Android Nougat I already added almost 4000 missing commits on his source ... and now there is almost 10000 new commits on the kernel in order to make it compatible/updated to Android 10 ... and this titanic work took me over a year, it's not something which you do it in a few days !

you can follow my kernel github for this device if you think I told you something wrong !
