Auto Brightness not working.

The Quick Settings Auto Brightness toggle doesn't work. With click it shows enabled but actually auto brightness/ambient display doesn't work. screen brightness remains same for all lighting conditions.

anybody else facing this issue? is there any fix?

Using chinese varient. coming from corvas2 ROM and did not flash any vendor, flashed 16th March Syberia ROM.

I'm facing the same issue. Even after enabling it from the settings, it still doesn't work. I clean installed the rom again but no success. The only working solution was to revert back to last update.

I backed up everything on PC and did a full wipe, and was still getting a bootloop. it was stuck on the syberia boot animation for 5 minutes then rebooted to recovery. Flashed original vendor img before and after installing rom (1 time before, 1 time after) and it didn't make any difference. I executed the exact same procedure with Evolution X OS and it worked right out of the box. So I think something wrong with syberia...

You get bootloop with other vendor.

Just flash the Rom, and after that no vendor !

Weird. I'm on 0316, but I don't get crashes, freezes or reboots. Only battery drain ^^'

I had the same experience until this morning when I got a random reboot on 19/03/20 with the same log as everyone else, thermal Hal crash. It made it 3 days this time. Also auto brightness randomly was working yesterday. I didn't think it worked at all in this build. Either way, oss syberia is sooo smooth I'm not complaining, I love it.

Hello,
I've installed the latest build, and also formatted data in the process. All good, but now I've realised that my phone is not encrypted and trying to encrypt it via settings doesn't seem to work.. the phone restarts and then it's still not encrypted.
Is device encryption supported on this ROM?

If this is actually true this is absolutely insane. Even with MIUI aggressive battery management and updated system I still get only 6 hours of screen on time MAX.

Thanks for the new version. The new gesture actions are awesome additions. I can finally turn off the screen with gestures. ?
