Bug report

Some bugs:

• Turning WIFI on or off sometimes forces the device to restart
• Sometimes the device experience lag and I have to wait to fix it or restart
• The "Phone" app has a delay when starting calls

Some suggestions:

• When the device launches, can you change so that the password encryption screen is integrated to the lock screen (At present, you have to enter the password first, in a screen with a black background, to launch into the system)
• Can you make the measuring unit of traffic monitor change dynamically? (For example, at present, the traffic monitor displays "0.5 MB/s", the expected change would be "512 KB/s", when the traffic is higher than 1 MB/s, it would use the "MB/s" unit instead)

I have not created any similar problems .. Which kernel do you use?

My kernel is aarch64. Do you know any application that conflicts with my Phone app, because that might be the issue, or how to find out conflicting apps?

News:Xiaomi Redmi 5 gets dual 4G VoLTE support with new MIUI 10 global beta update
a Global Beta MIUI 10 update is now being pushed out to Xiaomi Redmi 5 units, and it introduces brings dual 4G VoLTE support to the smartphone. Bearing build number 8.1.0 OPM1.171019.026, the update can be installed by downloading the associated Recovery ROM, and flashing it using the recovery method. Once installed, the dual 4G VoLTE can be enabled under the SIM cards & mobile networks option in the phone s settings. That said, the security patch included with the update is still that of November 2018.

In the latest update, magisk flash causes bootloop. Do you know any other way to root?

Also i can't install microg anymore. So with the latests update no more root and microg.

OK, after some long troubleshooting I found a solution. I had to generate a new smalipatcher and reflash it, after deleting all the magisk modules. After that I flashed microg and now everything is working fine. Sorry for the hassle.

Settings stops on accessing location settings if log buffer is turned off in developer settings.

Enabling red eye reduction hides flash icon in camera. Normal?
