wifi issues

I have this ROM installed on my dad's Redmi 5, and since the last 2 updates there has been continuous Wifi connectivity issue.

Even in direct line of sight the phone refuses to connect even though it detects the wifi signal. The OnePlus and iPhone next to it connect to the same network just fine.

I have tried resetting the network settings, but it doesn't help. I am sure this came up after the last 2 updates and seeing that this has not been reported by anyone else, can u let me know what needs to be done.

since you coming from MIUI, you will need to format data (that wipe your internal storage) and Dalvik, System, Data, Cache and vendor

Thank you for this Update but can you fix screen flickers when playing games without turn on Developer options overlay because the battery drain fast.I have one suggestion can you do a shorcut to turnoff a flashlight when turnoff the screen
