You can dirty upgrade(boot to twrp, clean dalvik and cahe, install,clean cache, install Gapps recomended by dungphp, clean cache, reboot).
I never backup my rom, i only backup apps, that's why i don't wanna try it without some reviews.

Thanks for the instructions, i just installed the rom succesfully. Only my homescreens seem to be missing.

So far the rom looks like it's an improvement from 4.6. The vibrations seem to be working again and the screen hasn't done any on/off flashing so far. If i encounter any problems while using it during the day tomorrow i'll post an update. If i post nothing then it should be good.

Brightness bar work?
If the screen doesn't start to flicker and if the phone doesn't randomly restart, i'll happy install it.

Ok, dirty flashed this version now, with latest flame gapps.
Everything went smooth, booted without a problem.
Light bar works, vibration is there.
I will let it works for few days and report back.
Thank you again @dungphp for your work to keep this amazing rom updated.

First impression: the screen is waaay brighter the previous versions.
Using full AOD doesn't crash the screen into flickering mode at all (but drain the battery a little )

Ooook, after 4 days of using this latest release, all i can say is that it's working PERFECT: no restarts, no screen flickering, DT2W works perfect (in 4.5, sometimes, after screen lights up when i received a message, i had to tap the screen multiple times to light up the screen again). As i said before, vibration works light bar works also, the screen is waaaay brighter than in 4.5.
Safety Net works from start,, both my bank apps work w/out a problem (with magisk hide, of course).
What surpised me is that i can use again redial from wireless earphone, a function lost many versions ago.
In the end, this is the most stable and perfect A11 version for now, so grab it while is hot

Well, i don't know what wifidisplay do, so this one doesn't bother me personally.
But i love how you check the details (from time to time )

sir can we expect update in a10 roms ? for gaming a11 isn't that much better... + is there any telegram channel where we can get direct update notification & changelogs.

i did clean flash (super partition clean) & everything quite good... animation seems bit slow but smooth... i don't know why my game crashing... sometimes game isn't load properly & it threw me to homescreen.

@dungphp - thanks for all the work on this ROM.

I see that the main post title (Havoc-OS-v3.12) is misleading as this rom is now Havoc-OS-v4.8 !

To fellow users of this rom, if there is anyone using it on Redmi 9S / Pro (India) - Curtana device, may I request to you pls share your experience and feedback? In terms of any known bugs, battery backup and suitability for use as a daily driver.

Seems that the rom remembered that it can annoy me when it want: got 2 random restarts and 1 flickering screen in 1 week. At least i hope the frequency of them will remain low
