You're right, I flashed the wrong TWRP...I guess I was lucky I didn't brick the phone.

Formating the phone using the wrong TWRP probably renders a phone useless in most cases.
However, can the phone be saved/unbricked by flashing the correct TWRP and then format again?

You're right, I flashed the wrong TWRP! Actually I didn't know that even a DuoSim-QuadCore-Edition existed, until now. Probably even more rare than the GT-i9195i we have. But I should have noticed the "3g" - silly me.
That finally explains my initial problems with flashing. I had to delete the first to lines in the /META-INF/com/google/android/update-binary to make it run through.

No big changes on LineageOS 17 (source side) unfortunately until today. With LineageOS it takes some time.
Therefore no further updates for LineageOS 17 (until some bugs are fixed).
Others are a bit more further (Havoc, ArrowOS...), with minimal bugs.. If you are interested I will upload for testing.

Wow, @mernurisha this is really nice! Of course, it calls my portable storage card "corrupt" though the card is actually fine; probably its way of providing "security." It does allow portable storage if I use a freshly formated card, and then it puts a bunch of mostly empty folders on the card! Still, overall it is a wonderful gift. I want to thank you, but I can not find a donate button for you. Other devs here on xda have a donate button. Will you be setting one up?

I saw on Reddit that the Lineage team decided to move from 17.0 to 17.1 even though AOSP continues as 10.0 still, saying that it is due to difficulties involved with recent commits; so, needing to distinguish newer builds. Don't know if that makes open_gapps-arm-10.0 work with lineage-17.1 or not. It may be okay to simply dirty flash 17.1-20200119 over 17.0-20191208 and any gapps (if flashed previously) should come along fine, I think. Be sure to save a restoreable backup image before proceding.
