Introduction
LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 10 (Q), which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

from a quick test I found:
- The initial error message (as mentioned above)
- after installing the ICEY-S 1.0.1 kernel, the device goes into boot-loop
- root works by installing Magisk21.4 and MagiskManager-v8.0.7
The device works quite well.

I flashed the new version; I can confirm that there is always the initial message, as you said at the beginning and unfortunately the wifi doesn't work; while in the previous version it worked. However the rom seems quite fluid; I noticed however that the temperature of the cpu and gpu is a little higher than the use with AOSP 5.8; battery backup is good.
In any case, thank you for the excellent work, I never thought I could use Android Q on this device. Asus ZE550KL Z00LD - 16Gb rom / 2Gb ram

as far as the temperature is concerned, I meant that the cpu and the gpu have 10 C ° more than AOSP 5.8; but i think it's not a big deal for this device.

Sorry if I'm getting repetitive ....
With the new build the wi-fi works: Great!!!.
The temperature is now normal, below 55/60 C °
I confirm the root with Magisk. Good battery backup.
I cannot test games as I never play with my smartphone.
I don't know if in a week or two, but the Roma is very performing.
I wanted to add another thing: I like this Roma because there is the essential, only what is needed; perhaps that is why it is very performing.

hey, if you ever make a z00t rom can you remove the 1.1ghz for little cores? my phone crashes with 1.1 on little cores so i'm using a modified version of icey, removed the 1.1ghz and max is 1ghz for my little cores now. you said icey kernel is not working for this rom, that's why i'm asking. otherwise i can't even test it since i can't complete the first setup or even boot without the modified kernel. its a constant bootloop with 1.1ghz.

yes full model is ZD551KL, it doesn't have to be icey but thats the one i had the source codes for, modified it myself to remove 1.1ghz. it can be done to any kernel. you just gotta edit some dtsi files and remove the lines that configure 1113600 for little cores.
