I like to use the frija tool but it's windows only. If android 10 firmware isn't available for your country, most people use the UK firmwarecan anyone suggest a place to download the latest samsung firmware?
OP linked one but the download is extremely slow.
Thanks. I finally flashed back to Samsung stock. And I am planning to use it for awhile.I like to use the frija tool but it's windows only. If android 10 firmware isn't available for your country, most people use the UK firmware
Did you try booting into download mode (while holding + and - volume, plug usb cable with odin on your computer) and selecting unlock/relock bootloader? Thanks. I finally flashed back to Samsung stock. And I am planning to use it for awhile.
There is still the bootloader unlocked warning message during boot and while I tried to relock the bootloader. The one unlock option in the developer option is visible but greyed out. Anyway to solve this?
Also even after revert back to stock with a full wipe, Netflix is still not showing in the play store. Does it mean my system is still rooted? If so, it’s possible to unroot it?

I don’t have easy access to a windows computer. Does it work if I use the Samsung smart switch instead of odin?Did you try booting into download mode (while holding + and - volume, plug usb cable with odin on your computer) and selecting unlock/relock bootloader?
Actually, I just tried. I couldn't seem to see the option to relock using this method. The download mode only display pressing power and volume down for 7 seconds to reboot. I wonder if I'm in the correct place.Did you try booting into download mode (while holding + and - volume, plug usb cable with odin on your computer) and selecting unlock/relock bootloader?
The method you used will only get you to download and NOT lock/unlock. You must use the tablet off, USB pluged into PC and, while holding vol up and vol down, plug the cable into the tablet. And, just to lock or unlock, it does NOT have to be a Windows PC with Odin. I just tried it with a Linux PC, and it worked fine. (Heimdall not needed either.) :fingers-crossed:Actually, I just tried. If you're on Linux or MacOS, you can use heimdall instead of Odin. It's a bit less user friendly, but I've seen some people use it successfully before.I don’t have easy access to a windows computer. Does it work if I use the Samsung smart switch instead of odin?
Is "OEM unlock" greyed out for you in developer settings? If it is, try checking for a software update and then check if it is still greyed out. If it's not, then you can shut down your device. Once it's shut down, hold the +&- vol buttons while you plug in a usb cable connected to your PC and you should boot into download mode (the background is cyan color)Actually, I just tried. It is "OEM enable", not "OEM unlock". And it has nothing to do with locking and unlocking the bootloader. They are entirely separate issues. You can lock or unlock the bootloader with or without OEM enabled. But if you unlock the bootloader, it does cause a "factory reset" and if you do that without enabling OEM, you will need the Google Account info to get back into the tablet. And if OEM is greyed out, just look a the switch position. It will most probably be in the enabled position and so you don't need to do anything. If you're on Linux or MacOS, you can use heimdall instead of Odin. Yes, @phhusson is already hard at work on Android 11 AOSP GSI builds. You can track his progress here.Hi, is some possibility of some updates or custom android 11 rom on T510 in future? Thanks and have a nice day. But last version Nexus is fully working and good job!
The UK version (BTU) works fine for US devices.
would have been setting up an Virtual Machine with Windows in it an option ?... because I don't have Windows, ....
I can verify that using a Windows Vbox session on Linux DOES work to install from Odin. Make sure you install the extension package and the "additions". Also, you must add your Linux user name to the last line of the /etc/group file and then reboot Linux so that you Vbox session can use the USB port for the tablet.:fingers-crossed:I waited a few days, and found the US version, and I procrastinated because I don't have Windows, and didn't want to deal with making my own Heimdall package.
A couple days ago I went ahead, and for whatever reason, I couldn't get the Heimdall packages to flash, so I ended up using my work laptop with Odin and got it done. Even then I had to finesse it. Anyway, I'm finally on the newest build.
