Over heating

I've noticed that my phone seems to get extremely hot while doing heavy tasks like pubg. In only 45 mins of gaming, the phone became pretty hot. The battery backup tho is pretty gud otherwise, it is consumed a lot while gaming. The same could be noticed while clicking pictures and videos as well.
I'm not sure why this happens. Any fixes/suggestions?

You can easily find google camera 7.3 online, which is much better than the one that was included.

IMPORTANT NOTE FOR OTA UPDATES

So guys as you know that the OTA update of the latest update (12/06/20') hasn't been yet pushed so there is a reason for that actually most of the users are complaining that they are having issues with installing rom using OTA updates because most of them hasn't enabled OTA settings in their recovery that's why they are facing issues and also there decrypted and encrypted users and their flashing steps and recovery settings are different for proper OTA update so that's why i did up poll that weather i should push OTA updates or not and I found that most of the users are using manually flashing and they don't prefer OTA updates so that's why OTA update hasn't been pushed so I hope it won't be a big deal for you to just download the ROM and flash it via recovery with proper steps because I don't want loss of your data if something is messed from your side on recovery settings.

I just clean flashed the latest build - no problem, except twrp-3.3.1-2-violet.img was giving me a bootloop, i.e. it always booted back to recovery instead of booting to system. So, I changed to OrangeFox-R10.1_3-Stable-violet.zip ...

Some users reported this issue for other rom too not booting with that so that's why i prefer ofox recovery its best for me ?

No nothing like that is needed

Its not on ROM side actually. It was on kernel side so it's fixed now. Update to latest azure kernel from group.

Yes I have tried every possible version. Now i dont have camera app on the ROM.

The rom looks stable but the camera app is not there. also ANX camera app is also missing

Install gcam. No issues with camera lol. It's checked. Anx removed as per anx owner wish.

I just flashed ANX camera v184 and after flashing 48MP fix, the back camera portrait mode gets stuck without any error, the front camera portrait mode works totally fine.. Any idea why this is happening ?

Well it uses google dialler no call recorder support in google dialler yet. But maybe soon if google wants also maybe aosp dialler works.. but not checked yet. For call recording people used magisk mod or app

Very useful features when on the road.

Yeah ik these are usefull but as of now NO bcz it's just a minimal ROM based on PE so don't no unnecessary things

As much I wish to stay on Pixel Experience and be a developer, I have to move on. I have reflashed MIUI again and I will remove all the ads and crap apps from MIUI.
Now that I have started working, call recording feature is a must.
Few things that drove me back to MIUI:
1) No doible tap volume button for flashlight on/off
2) Everytime I opened Whatsapp Web the camera would just freeze.
3) Tried all call recording options, rooted and even magisk ones, the only one that worked was BoldBeast Call Recorder after which it broke my microphone and neither the recorder nor the camera was able to record audio.
4) Navigation always used to stuck while using Nova Launcher, now it doesn't.
5) I was sick of moving from Gcams to Gcams and used to flash ANX Camera but it used to stop working now and then.
6) Too much update and with every update I was always in doubt will this brick my device or not.
I just don't have enough time to deal with little issues every now and then and having a proper call recording tool makes very very big difference.

Few things immediately noticed with MIUI:
1) If I revoke Authorization of MIUI apps I don't get any ads whatsoever.
2) The app install time are very very long compared to PE or PPUI.
