So to sum up if I want to install the pixel rom. I have to unlock my mi10, install magisk / twrp, then install the Chinese rom. To finally install the pixel rom?
Anyone have a link to download the chinese rom please?

1. Unlock bootloader
2. Install twrp
3. Flash vbmeta images
4. Flash recommended firmware
5. Flash pixel rom
6. Format in twrp by typing yes
7. Flash magisk (optional)
8. Reboot

Search the firmware thread for the firmware

I don't recall flashing vbmeta. I went from the Xiaomi.eu rom to pixel experience so went through the standard install process for the EU ROM then straight to PE

That's cause the EU ROM takes care of it

Have been using it as daily driver for the past week.

Everything is snappier IMO, battery just as good or better.
Auto brightness issues and fingerprint sensor not working well. Maybe some WiFi drops. I do get random crashes of Google Chrome as well. Other than this no real issues. Will continue to use it as daily driver as I think it's better.

Yes if you install magisk and the hide props module.

I love your roms always top notch quality and always updated to an point. But unfortunately since this is an google ASOP I don't like the Google photos and google file manager.
I like the gallery app of Xiaomi and the great file manager of Xiaomi. for me that is the point I don't use it anymore.

but i used it on M9, redmi note series, always great stuff and fast.

What a strange thing to say - you can easily just use a Xiaomi's file manager and gallery app instead.

If you think on PE android 10, then i think it will not be fixed

I managed to install the rom, it was a bit laborious but I got there. Everything works fine I have the impression, just that when I am on the lock screen the brightness goes to maximum, I do not know how to deactivate it it's quite annoying

Its FOD bug cant be fixed at the moment as we don't have a custom kernel.
