I've been trying other ROMs but I always return to Pixel Experience. I've flashed the PE 12 a week ago and I believe it's a keeper for me. It even seems to have a better battery management.
I was a bit concerned about the bugs some people were reporting, but I guess I haven't found them.. yet...
I can unlock with my face (though it seems to be just a bit slower than PE 11), I can unlock with fingerprint even with the screen off, I don't use google pay so that one I can't confirm.

The only complain I have about Pixel Experience is the camera. I have the Gcam but it has some bugs. Sometimes it takes a bit too long to open and other times it can't connect to the camera. Not being able to use the slow motion it's also a bummer, not that I would use it often, but still.
I also have the Gcam Go for the quick action with the power button, not only because it's much quicker to open, but also because "normal" Gcam sometimes would have a black screen if it's launched the first time from double click on power button. I tried to install the anx camera several times, but I never had any success. It keeps crashing after the second, third... launches, removing permissions, giving permissions...

A couple weeks ago I returned to the xiaomi eu ROM, with its amazing and stable original camera, but the Xiaomi ROMs have too many quirks and I simply can't live with the battery saving features, always closing apps on its own, not being able to use gesture navigation with Nova Launcher, and the forced dark screen in every app.

Anyway, I rather have this stable, quick, clean, amazing ROM, with Gcam, than the xiaomi eu.

check the logcat. If you can see many:

SystemUpdate: java.lang.IllegalStateException

W SystemUpdate: at vcf.kcom.google.android.gms@[email protected] (150400-414534850):0)

you can fix this with (Magisk needed):

adb shell su -c pm disable com.google.android.gms/.chimera.GmsIntentOperationService

I could not find any other solution except of Magisk.
You can access logcat in this way: connect your phone to PC and type adb logcat. All details you can find on the Internet, just google it

in the log I see a very repetitive message, it is normal? ( I Like PE, but i have the play store deactivated, im not using that service.)

I've been using PE rom for a few months without issues. Recently I've encountered a strange issue: WiFi and cellular data keeps disconnecting for a few seconds. When it reconnects, it works ok. I did reset the wireless settings (via system settings) with no result. I'm using 2 sim cards, if that's relevant here.

the new version of the android 13 rom is online. Does it have updates via OTA? is it possible to do an update without formatting everything, coming from android 13?

I installed this rom and would like to change to another one.
What to do to install another rom using TWRP? Whenever I try, it says that the files are encrypted and does not allow accessing the files, formatting the cache and data.

Although this thread is a about Android 10 it looks like your device is running Android 12. None of nowadays custom recoveries can deal with Android 12's encryption. Hence, you either need to format data or you can sideload the new ROM from PC via adb. You also can put it on an USB OtG stick and load from there within TWRP.
But keep in mind that most likely your device will end up in a bootloop anyhow as long as the new ROM is not based on Android 12 or 13 as well.

Install pe recovery, format data, install latest rom.
I cant add an contactless pay method
