Can you dirty flash this rom through your phone using no external storage with twrp 3.7?

Edit: I tried it and it works. You can install ota with twrp 3.7, older versions may not work. It worked for me even though I had some magisk modules installed

We can't found Network Traffic Monitor on LineageOS 20, can ask to developer?:coffee:
Currently, network traffic monitor is not available if there is a centered cutout in the statusbar (our selfie camera).
You could go to developers options / display cutout and select "corner cutout". Then you can activate network traffic display.

But of course, that's not a solution.
😀

Well, it even stays activated even after changing the display cutout back to default. However, then it's impossible to see it because it's in the place of the camera.

From telegram:
Well guys... i merged all FW13 patches. From next monday, if you update, please _flash firmware 13.0.4.0_ (any version is fine). Known issue is macro lens not working, but since LMKD settings have been improved and all lags (significant lags) should have been removed from monday build onward and given that macro lens is ****ty anyway and basically not usable, i decided to push anyway . That will be fixed in the future. Somebody reported VoLTE/VoWIFI not working, but a few other reported it's working instead, so i am more inclined to say it's not an issue: you guys will tell me. (my operator doesnt support either so cannot test myself)

Today, I already flashed the mentioned firmware 13.0.4.0, running the last official LOS20 (i.e. the version before all new patches are included).
Everything - as far as I could test - runs still fine.
So hopefully the update on Monday will continue running fine. :)
And VoLTE is working well (Telefonica Germany, aka "O2").

I usually change my APN info from "IPv4" to "IPv4/IPv6", as some websites are no longer reachable with IPv4.

Hi, a few weeks ago i decided to switch from LOS19 to LOS20 (clean flash). Now i wanted to update to the current version via OTA. The update also worked. Unfortunately i now have the problem that the Play Store(Vending) is no longer recognized, or crashes again and again when trying to access it. When I switched to LOS20, I installed MindTheGapps. After the OTA update, the apps are still there, but as I said, the Play Store can no longer be accessed. Do you guys have any ideas on how to proceed?

EDIT: for everyone else who has the same problem. Just switch to TWRP and flash MindTheGapps dirty over it. If the PlayStore indicates that it is offline, network access must be allowed under App-Info by setting the checkbox.

I finally switched to the new A13 build and it's really excellent. Thanks @gardiol for your work. I also think you should edit the title as suggested by @pnin above so that more people can find it!

I updated to LOS20 a few weeks ago, and it is working really good.
The only drawback compared to LOS19.1 is, that my car hands-free (Bluetooth) does no longer connect to the Poco. All other Bluetooth devices (headphones, heater valves, device-to-device file transfer etc.) work normal. Only car hands-free fails.
Anybody else with this problem?
I Google'ed and found a lot of complains about Android 13 and the problem with car hands-free, Android Auto and other Bluetooth problems. Is it the same problem?
I tried to take logcats to locate the trouble but cannot find relevant information in it. Do I have to activate some setting to get more information in logcat about Bluetooth?

One very positive thing: With LOS20 all my Bluetooth headphones now use in-band ringtone, i.e. the configured ringtone is played by the headphone, instead of the haedphone's built-in ringtone. That's great, because my true-wireless ear-plugs don't have the built-in sound, so I always missed incoming calls.

Edit: The latest LOS update from yesterday seems to have fixed the car hands-free problem! Great!

I always set the battery indicator to also show its percentage, but in A13 it stays hidden unless you expand the notification area, not sure if it's intentional?

Hi,
I had exactly that same problem with LOS19.1, everything was working fine, including bluetooth devices, except for my car's hands free.
Since that was very important for me, I switched from LOS to another rom and the problem went away.
Now I was deciding to return to LOS, but I'm afraid of this problem again...

I did not have a problem with LOS19.1 but only with the January version of LOS20. With the current version 2023-02-20 the hands-free works again.
So probably a different problem from yours. Hard to say if your hands-free would do with the current LOS20.

I just realized, that with LOS20 the change of display brightnes by swiping over the statusbar no longer works. I have activated it in the settings, but there is no reaction to the gesture.
Do others have the same problem or is it only my device?

Just tried, it works here, both manual and automatic mode

How do they manifest themselves? What happens?

Ghost touches are a known hardware defect of surya. All you can do is replace display. I have been there.

The only freezes I have with LOS20 happen once in a while with the unlock animation (the "shading" effect, don't know how it's called) when I use the fingerprint to unlock it. When it happens, the screen freezes during the animation for a few seconds, I keep pressing the power button until it unfreezes and it's back to normal.
Disabile all animations from dev settings and you are good to

LineageOS 19.1 Official and currently built by LineageOS official infrastructure.

17.1 has never been official (and it's upstream dead since 31st December 2021)
18.1 is official, discontinued builds since 2nd May 2022
19.1 is official and built weekly.

    /*
    * Your warranty is now void.
    *
    * I am not responsible for bricked devices, dead SD cards,
    * thermonuclear war, or you getting fired because the alarm app failed. Please
    * do some research if you have any concerns about features included in this ROM
    * before flashing it! YOU are choosing to make these modifications, and if
    * you point the finger at me for messing up your device, I will laugh at you.
    */

    What's working:
    • Everything

    Known issues:
    • Honestly at this time, nothing?

    Camera Notes
ANX camera is not recomended and will most probably NOT work.
To get a fully working camera try one of the gcams here.
Do not forget to copy&load the associated xml file!

Official LOS uses oss camera service, so xml written for other custom roms might not work.
The gcams at the above link have modified xmls for LOS.

    Download:

There is also a MIcroG build if you don't like Google Apps!
If you care for official microg builds, check here they will be ready when they will be ready, those builds are not done by me nor supported by me, do not ask me about it.

There is also, for help and support, the:
    Instructions:
    • Make sure to flash at the very minimum firmware 12.5.7.0 (anything newer will work) from XiaomiFirmwareUpdater firmware page
    • (For 17.1 <<only>> : flash VENDOR + FIRMWARE from Android 10, do not use Android 11)
    • Download this build and Magisk (optionally) and gapps (optionally).
    • Put the zip on your MicroSD (suggested) or connect via USB to PC.
    • Boot to recovery (latest TWRP only is suggested! OrangeFox has issues).
    • Wipe Dalvik, Cache and format data. This IS NOT OPTIONAL!
    • Reboot recovery after wipe and format.
    • Flash this ROM zip...
    • ... flash gapps zip ...
    • ... If you want Magisk, flash zip ...
    • Reboot and enjoy!
If you have any issues flashing, like persistent GApps or booting issues, try to cleanup the phone with the following procedure:
    • Download a full MIUI rom recovery package from XiaomiFirmwareUpdater MIUI page
    • ... (make sure you download the full rom package for RECOVERY, it is about 2.4Gb!) ...
    • From recovery, flash the zip file. This will cleanup all the partitions.
    • Now flash again this ROM.
This problem is related to the fact that TWRP and OrangeFox both don't support dynamic partitions properly yet.

Tested with Magisk 25.2, newer version should work, but you MUST follow the SafetyNet fix guide in the next post if you want Play Store certification.

Suggested GAPPS for LineageOS: Mind The Gaps (here, make sure to download the ones for your android version 10, 11 or 12).

Passing SafetyNet and Google Play Certification

    SafetyNet and Play Store certification

(guide updated 24 aug 2022, for Magisk 25.2)

LineageOS, by charter, does not alter any safety ptotection set by Google. In our case, having an unlocked bootloader, safetynet will always fail by Google decision. Now, passing safety net is required for banking apps and even some games. Also, it is required for "play store certification", which will prevent you from even searching for some apps (like Netflix).
    Blame Google for all this.

--ALL STEPS ARE MANDATORY, NONE CAN BE SKIPPED UNLESS EXPLICITY OPTIONAL--

    Install Magisk

Download latest stable magisk apk from Magisk website (https://github.com/topjohnwu/Magisk). Rename it as .zip and flash it from recovery. Some recoveries, like TWRP, will flash the apk directly, others will require the rename.
Boot LOS and install the apk file.

Hide Magisk apps and Enable Zygisk & blocklist

Open Magisk App, go to settings and hide the magisk app. Give it a name you will remember.
After magisk app has been hidden, go back to settings and enable Zygisk (beta).
Now apply the blocklist and select all the apps you like NOT to detect Magisk. This must include Google Play Services and Google Play Store.

    Install SafetyNet fix module

kDrag0n developed a fix that can be flashed via Magisk. You must download the module (https://github.com/kdrag0n/safetynet-fix/releases), select at least version 2.2.1, and install it from inside Magisk app.

    Setup Fingerprint

Download latest Props module for Magisk (https://forum.xda-developers.com/t/...t-prop-edits-and-more-v6-1-2.3789228/page-274) and install it within Magisk. Reboot your phone.
Now, after reboot, open a terminal (use "adb shell" from pc, or install termux from play store) and type:
    su (grant root access!)
props (a text based menu will popup)
Now select "1" (edit fingerprint), type "f" (pick fingerprint) select "22" (poco) then select any one poco x3 model. Which one really doesn't matter, but make sure to choose the right Android version.
    Confirm and reboot phone.

    Clear caches for Google stuff

Now, open settings - apps and clear data&cache for Google Play Store and Google Play Services.
    One last reboot!

    Don't want root?

If you dont want root... Just disable it from within Magisk!

    OPTIONAL Additional stuff

Magisk from 24.1 removed the built-in modules repository. If you like it back, you can install Fox's Magisk Module Manager app (https://github.com/Fox2Code/FoxMagiskModuleManager).

I have some news. I am working on Lineage-18.1 and so far i am having some good progress.
I managed to boot it, it's still unstable and a lot work is required, but it's steady.

It is OSS based, so this will be official no doubt this time.
    18
Official build is again underway and will be ready in a few days.
Everything has been approved this time we are just waiting for hudson & wiki merge to be approved.

I think there is good hope that the first official build will be next week.
