Ghost touches are a known hardware defect of surya. All you can do is replace display. I have been there.

For the upgrade to LOS20 I followed the official instructions. I have been using this Rom here for years without big problems, but since the upgrade to 20 there are a lot of hangs at unpredictable times. Had hoped it would get better with some update, but no.
Since only a factory reset is possible in LineageRecovery, I have only dirty flashed so far. Is there still no recommended version of TWRP? Which directories should be deleted if I like to keep my user data.
Meanwhile there is a new firmware V14.0.1.0.SJGMIXM, but neither here in the thread nor on the lineage page it's recommended. From when should the firmware be updated?

Use Fw 13.0.4.0.
Disabile animations in dev settings, it will help a lot.

The only freezes I have with LOS20 happen once in a while with the unlock animation (the "shading" effect, don't know how it's called) when I use the fingerprint to unlock it. When it happens, the screen freezes during the animation for a few seconds, I keep pressing the power button until it unfreezes and it's back to normal.

After one day testing disabled animations seems to be much bettetr. Just few hangs and shorter.

So it's recommeded to use Mindthegapps instead of other Gapps. Can I flash Mindthegapps and then install magisk module Pixelify to get more google features and apps? What kind of problems could happen if I flashed other Gapps?

Dont ask for help IB case anything breaks. Also yes, you can install any other app from google in play store

I installed Magisk Canary today, now System stucks in bootloop. I tried flashing the image and got the following error:
Failed to update system_ext image

In lastlog:
W:failed to read uncrypt status: No such file or directory

Has anybody an idea how to fix it without loosing all the data? Thank you very much

Ok, I'll try TWRP. I used canary du to issues with the photo tan of german comdirect bank ...

Install of 20230306 nightly build worked. Seems to be an issue of latest nightly build...

last monday update Lineage 20.0 20230327 is quite unstable for my poco x3. At least 4 sudden restarts from monday. Today morning it was even 2 times.. Model M2007J20CG.
