New Alpha build dated 20191008 with the October Android Security Patch is out!

The update should already be on the Updater

If you wish to update manually via TWRP:

Some things to note:
- Make sure you've read everything here: https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=80334659&postcount=86
- Changelog is rough as there is just way too many changes we've added for various reasons and you won't even notice it but are important, from a features POV, there is nothing changed for the simple reason that we want to refactor our OwlsNest (where we store all our additions and toggles) and are hard at work at doing just that so hang tight.
- A newer OpenGApps is compatible now too, so choose the flavour you like from HERE (a massive thanks to @Nezorflame)
- The latest magisk canary works just fine, tested by me, the link is HERE

Kill some wakelocks related to qcacld in the kernel that prevented the device from dozing for long
A ton of camera changes
Keymaster (lock) changes
Sepolicy changes

I am always flashing via TWRP but I think it is normal that flashing via the inbuild updater can take a while so just wait until is finishes...

Yeah it took about 15/20 mins.. the update is great, feels even smoother

Looks like it's missing a permission related to the "Ok Google" hotword. Is it installed as a system app ?

time and date reset after reboot.

With the new build, seems that SystemUI tends to crash after a few minutes. The phones becomes unresponsive.
I'm currently trying with/without dark mode, and with/without gestures.
For now it happened with three-button navigation and dark mode enabled.

Seems all good after switching to gesture navigation.

Anyone has issues with Bluetooth audio? I can't get audio to process through Bluetooth at all. I've uninstalled and reinstalled all magisk modules as well as magisk (recommended canary version).

I didn't have any issue with the previous build.

No problem here. Bluetooth works for me on the latest build.
