Hi!
After I installed AOSP 10 I had problems with not being able to update certain Google apps or install almost any other app I am using. The error given by Google Play Store was "App requires external storage | {APP_NAME} can't be downloaded. Insert an SD card or USB storage with sufficient storage, and try again." On a fresh installation I am using 11,75 GB out of 64,00 GB internal shared storage and 267 MB out of 15,91 GB of portable storage (removable SD card, formatted using Android). If that is not enough I do not know what is. The SD card is working fine, tested on Linux. And I do not know why the system is demanding installation on portable drive, as there is enough space on internal drive.
When I open the default Camera app I get "Insert and SD card before using the camera" notification. I am not using root. File App does recognize the SD card and shows data on it. I can create folders and delete them. If I try to access internal data, File app gives me only folders with names created with random letters.
Is there a way to solve this problem?
Regards; Luka
For those who want install Magisk (own experience only) :
- Download Magisk 20.3.zip
- install TWRP 3.2.1 by pretoriano80 over eRecovery
- flash magisk.zip from TWRP
- reboot to Recovery
- install magisk manager.apk
I tried to format data on TWRP 3.4, but with no luck. Every time the format got stuck. Once I left the phone with TWRP doing format for 20 hours, but there were no progress. I must have been doing something wrong. I tried to format data to ext4. That was successful, and I was able to install AOSP, but It would just go into bootloop. Too bad. I had to use eRecovery to get back on stock rom to have the phone being useful again. If somebody has some idea what am I doing wrong?Same happen to me on Lineage , so its because the internal system is encrypted on huawei code, you hve to format on twrp , and the install the rom, im going to tested right now

I had problems with space issues (most likely due to encryption on the phone left by EMUI). Will that be fixed if I flash AOSP without installing TWRP first? What about GApps?
Can I just ask what is the difference between the TWRP you have provided and the one of @DarkJoker360?

I am sorry if I sounded impolite or harsh. I would like to thank you for your suggestions, I just had some additional questions. Especially as all of the instructions I read suggested to install TWRP, format data partition to erase encryption, install OpenGApps from TWRP, ... I will try your method tonight or tomorrow, today I am on duty and found the answers firsthand. I just wanted to be prepared for any bumps on the road.you can choose to not do what i suggest, it's your choice... Have a nice day!

Can we install this rom without unlocking the bootloader to p20 lite

Vendor is the same on every rom because we can't work on it here.Good!
So should perform better than a gsi, cause is using specific vendor , right? Are gapps included?
Sadly my P20 Lite broke so I can't continue developing for it. Thanks to who appreciated my work.
LineageOS will be the last rom supported until 18.0 won't come out officially. Thanks.
Kind of. It's not really a gsi/sgsi but it's almost generic on Huawei P vendor devices. Btw it booted up.
