Great rom man!!! I'm in love with all the features, I'm never changing this gem out!

Many thanks to all the developers for their efforts on this, its INSANE how stable this rom is.


I have some silly questions tho if you don't mind helping me with :]

-Which type of kernels am I supposed to flash? is it the ones meant for deodexed stock roms?

-Is it possible to disable the notification panel pull down on the lockscreen *Without ROOT*?

-Is it also possible to just replace fonts within the ROM zip file and then attempt to flash the modified file afterwards without signing it? I tried changing the fonts from the fonts settings but its not changing system-wide, I also tried to flash a signed fonts zip file *Without ROOT* from TWRP and it always results in NOTHING happening to said font lol, its like I never even flashed it! do you have any idea why it didn't change? I checked the path and it seems to match with the rom fonts path...... -__-

Hello,
I was wondering if someone else has a problem with charging / batery in gereral. I was previously on an old Soldier rom and waiting for this release to update from my android 9 rom to something newer. This rom feels fantastic overall I just have a problem when charging the batery and discharging. Whern I put the cable in to charge it shows an estimate time of how much time it needs to full charge my S8. But the big problem is that it takes more than 3 times what it says to full charge. I have an old battery in, but still compared to my previus rom it needs a tremendus more time for the same ammount of missing battery. It feels like it is not fast charging or something even if it is written fast charging + I have checked the settings that it's enabled. I may be imaginig this but it feels that is discharging faster too. Any help / tips / explanations will be appreciated.

My S8+ is 5yrs old, my charge port has gone funky and won't charge.
I only use wireless now and it works well.

yes it doesn't works but i used magisk module for fix that, too when are playing with the charger coneccted touch is to much laggy and i used a magisk module for touch to fix that

Did you try change your cable or charger? I am using hadesRom more than six months and everything working fine.

What module are you using for fast charging?

I suppose you didn't make an EFS Backup from TWRP ?
If not try to find softwares on PC dedicated to Samsung Devices.

Hi,i've been using the hadesRom Pie Stock v12.0,and im thinking of upgrading to this.Do i still need to wipe data partition when coming from hadesRom Pie Stock v12.0?And if the answer is yes,can i restore the data partition when i was using hadesRom Pie Stock V12.0?

its fine the twrp efs backup was corrupted and i dont know how but its fine

You have fast charging enabled by default (its 15 Watts as far as I'm aware) and you can switch it off under the battery settings, you cant exceed the charging capabilities the s8 enables. Maybe check you charger or cable

firstly the ROM is great. its running smoothly with no problem
But i do have a little problen. After an installation, notice found saying that, its better to flash Magisk after one successful restart, which i did.
And i did select VERY LESS amount of bloatware (I hate bloatwares), BUT, i did install some GApps from Play Store directly because some apps i need them of

and just now i tried to restart the phone, and the phone stuck on the Samsung logo (not animation) for 1 minute or more, and it rebooted again, after next reboot it just went to TWRP instantly. It wont boot to the main OS anymore, as if the OS is missing.

Even i turned off the phone, when i plug the charger, it doesnt show the charing percentage. it just boots to TWRP.

What should i do to fix this? This rom is beautiful.

Hi i have same issue like this which i solved before try to download again the os file(hadesrom) again maybe file has problem probably need to download it again

any chance of getting this (https://issuetracker.google.com/issues/145082934?pli=1) baked into the ROM? It's a bug in Android 10 that prevents the use of USB cameras. A bug that was introduced into Android 10. Android 11 and 12 don't have this issue.

Upgraded a Samsung S8 with this great rom, for which many thanks. I had hoped that moving to Android 10 would enable me to access what is known as Audio Streaming for Hearing Aid (ASHA) which is the protocol now across the hearing aids industry for communication with mobile phones. Some of the options do work but I am getting some errors in usage. Has anyone out there any experience of ASHA on an S8 that has had this rom installed?
