It could be a pixel experience issue, not related to the variant that you have.

No, the taiwan variant is stock 5.1.1, it has not been upgraded to 6.0.1. This means you cannot install this rom

Hi,

Firstly thank you for this glorious rom, it works very smooth.

In the last version j5nlte-10.0-20200426-0935 on SM-J500FN, the photo cam is working but video recording doesnt. I have test with other apps (Open Camera) and with different resolutions (SD, HD and FHD) but it always start record and after 1 seconds it stops producing a corrupted video. In the previous version it was working.

Does someone else have this problem or it is only for me?

But seriously, j500h is the j53gxx, which is not supported by this rom, not even through an install script hack.

And i have a j500m/ds which is j5lte, and i'd love to try this out too, but my phone is broken.

The difference between me and you is my device can get it through a install script hack and yours can't. And that the dev does not want to maintain for all variants, which leaves the j53gxx, meaning your phone, without support.

It can work just fine on j53gxx if you use a kernel for it. Not that if install script hack doesn't work people are out of luck. But still, I don't see the point of doing all this when you can use another rom.

Eh, you have your fans of specific roms. Some ppl just can't get enough of this rom. I don't mind the various hacks that allow a rom to be installed on other variants, but i prefer a build specifically for my variant.

i have device samsung j500g and try to install this rom to my phone, so i unzip this rom and change script and zip it again
but its get eror that show me that zip is broken
so, how to zip its rom? i zip it with winrar

If you have the gcam thats floating around on tg, then thats it. If it has support, then it has support, if not, then no
