Hi, when i try to install yumi v3 port in my galaxy j7 2016, it says and some symlinks failed and then exits the installer. What is the issue? I tried everything from flashing repartitioner and create vendor but none of them worked. Is it too heavy for my system partition or is there any other issue? Please le me know.

Fix for symlink:
After flashing repartioner.
Go to manage partitions.
Select cache then change file size to ext4.
Select data then change file size to ext4 as well.
Do full wipe.
Proceed with flashing vender and rom.

yes that works on almost all one ui roms.I have nt come across one where it does nt work.

when i flash the rom, it opens up some installer, i proceed and choose the bloats i like and proceed, and then the customization options. after that it shows redy to install, chose next. then it takes some time and after that shows the message

It got sorted alredy, i just chose less bloatware and no mods. But i wanted many of the mods and the bloatware ;-;

One ui core which is basically arm 32bit does not offer higher refresh rates.
You can only get it with arm64 one ui roms which are very slow as compared to arm32.

It got sorted alredy, i just chose less bloatware and no mods. But i wanted many of the mods and the bloatware ;-;

No it does not have root but it really ain't that hard rooting ofc.

Install latest ver. of magisk on ur phone.
Rename the magisk.apk>magisk.zip
Flash the magisk.zip in recovery.
Open magisk app it will say
"Root requires additional setup"
Proceed installation with recommended method.
Once its done installing you phone will restart and viola you are now rooted.
You can now use any magisk module.

But now it seems like one of my sim card isnt getting detected(i have 2sim cards inserted)
Pls help

Unfortunately only fix for that is to change rom.

got sorted, i reflashed the rom. and then re rooted the rom again.


One problem is that,
Many popular apps have disappeared in play store just because of the firmware port. I don't want to install APKs from sketchy sites. Is there any fix for this?

The reason the apps disappeared is bc you rooted your phone which means play protect certified apps won't be be available for download.Their is a simple fix for this.Download universal safety net fix module for magisk and flash in magisk and after some time (like a hour or two) you should have access to those apps again.If still not you can clear data and cache of Google play services and play store.Thats about it.
Also apkmirror is a 100% genuine website where you can get completely safe apks.
