apparently has a bug on the sim card. I tried anyway but the bug continues. and then he hangs up and goes to twrp / orange

Signature spoofing will require somebody else to patch the rom and build for MicroG. I will not do it, think.
On which firmware are you on? Have you flashed the firmare before flashing the ROM?
I tested the fw 3 and 4 and even without fw. I also tried with gapps and without gapps. Even so, everyone gave this problem.

Ok, now i need to find out why there is this SIM issue. I guess you are all on Surya. I will check and see what the problem is.

Don't do any signature spoofing patches if you plan on applying for official builds. Lineage doesn't allow any of that on their official builds unfortunately.
Agreed. There are third party apps which can add such functionality.

When I was on a Redmi Note 8 nothing short of a proper ROM swap was able to do it -- I even tried running the patcher in Linux.
The rules outlined here on XDA prevent me from stating what app it is but it has a smiley face.
There is also a Smali patcher magisk module which can also enable signature spoofing.
If i can get it to actually work, and fix all issues then i will make it official. Man, it's written in the first post... But at the moment we are way from that point.
@gardiol: Have you used the version @Ungeskriptet created, or did you build it yourself? Its kind of hard to see the differences between your two versions of Lineage 17.1 from here.

Mine is different. I started from the RR trees, and it works with firmware 12.0.4 (not 12.0.3). As far as i know, it's a compeltely different build from @Ungeskriptet- His one has working SIM but broken Wifi. mine is the other way around.
No need anyway, the microg team will do this once it becomes official, anyway! They provide builds of every supported LineageOS device with microG built in. http://lineage.microg.org . You can even get OTA that way.
I use this on my Sony XA2 and it works really well.
New build in progress with new device tree.... tomorrow we will see.
I'm running his build right now, and both SIM and Wifi runs just fine. Well, the phone very rarely uses the 5 GHz, even if it should, but 2,4 GHz Wifi works perfectly.
Only problem is that the security is October patch, and will not be updated.
