This is a great ROM, and as I can't upgrade at the moment, I'm delighted that it's still getting security patches.

I'm on 8.7.0 and previously set a QS Background image, Now I'm trying to change it but the original image stays even though its not on my device anymore, does anyone know where this would be stored

8.7.1 just showed in the updater. All is working great, except for the immersive status bar setting, which did not work OOTB as per usual, and necessitated my moving all of the padding and rounded corner sliders in RR settings down to 0. Otherwise great work as per usual.

@arnoldpalmernold did you just install via the updater or manually, ive just tried and it said it was trying to install 8.7.0 again so i pressed ok anyway and the notification said install error .
Im sure i had the same trouble when updating to 8.7.0 before and had to use twrp

Thanks so much to @Deivid_21 and the rest of the RR team for continuing to support G7 Power users with these security updates. There are just too many issues with Android 11 and this phone, so having this great ROM based on Android 10 continue to be maintained is amazing.

So,the other day I was having a few issues with things not working properly and I decided to do a clean flash ,I d'l latest bitgapps all went smooth till I opened contacts and found the list empty,re-synced,nothing, back to settings default account and only one listed -device, signed in through contacts settings ,account is already on device. It appears it wanted me to sync from google one and not drive and wouldn't give me the option change.
Out of ideas by then so tried open gapps nikgapps flamegapps I think mind the gapps was android 11 only .had to install gapps from same date as ROM was built(used flamegapps) all working again.
As no-one else has mentioned it I assume everyone is leaving things alone till an update arrives, ....just thought I'd put it out there.

I'm just wondering if RR in general is gone, dead or whatever. I've used RR on all my phones including this one. But it seems RR isn't working an an 11 OR 12 ROM. I'm not asking for when or eta or dates. All I'm wondering is if I need to begin researching out other Roms. RR Has always been my favorite.
Having had a brief look around, I haven't seen any indications of an Android 11 version of this fine ROM. I don't particularly want to move on, either, but I'd rather know if something is in the pipeline or if it's best to start researching.

If you have a major bug to report that has not been reported already, please take the following steps to report it to us. It will save you, Team Resurrection Remix and me quite some time.
Download the MatLog app from the Play Store.
After downloading the MatLog app, go to the app settings, and change the log level to Debug.
Clear all previous logs and take the exact steps to produce the error you are receiving. As soon as you receive the error (probably a force close), go straight into MatLog and stop the log recording.
Copy and paste the entire log either to Hastebin or Pastebin
Save the log, and copy and paste the link into the thread with a brief description of the error.

Thanks for still maintaining this, @Deivid_21. I hope you continue to do so, as I've found it to be the most usable and reliable ROM for this phone.2
I've actually found performance to be quite solid, and with the latest 8.6.8 update, it's actually significantly snappier. Just installed it myself and everything went swimmingly.
