Hello,

Rom seems to be fine and stable, but, I have 2 issues which I can't seem to solve.

Phone is working fine, made a call to my wife yesterday, however when I enable 4G/LTE, the icon shows up but it shows a cross sign next to my signal and I have no internet, although when I enable data speed, it does show activity. So I'm assuming it's some setting blocking me from accessing the 4G network.

I tried to wipe cahce, select carrier manually and fiddle with some options all to no avail.

Another persistent problem that I can't seem to find a solution for is, everytime I restart the phone I get a message saying: "sd card for transferring photos and media".
I tried some solutions I googled, like formatting the card on the phone or format it on a computer first and then on the phone, but I keep getting the same message every restart.

Any help or suggestions would be appreciated, especially for the 4G problem!

Sorry bro, I'm not helping you but how did you make your notifications background in dark grey and not black !? Personnaly when I active the dark mode, it's full black, and your dark grey is just dope!

Hi. I am having a few issues with the rom.
1. I am getting horrible battery life with this rom. I am not sure what the issue is. Fast charging doesnt seem to work as well.
2. The rom stutters quite a lot after waking from a prolonged stand by.

Other than this, pretty solid experience on my part. I hope someone can shed some light onto the issues I am facing.

Only issue I've found so far is that Netflix doesn't work it gets stuck on the "loading* black screen after you select a movie/series.
Other than that amazing rom! Looking forward to version 4.0.

Fixed it using Magisk module : liboemcrypto disabler

Hey everyone, hope you all doing well. this will be a long post so sit tight, This concerns users and developers who are interested in OSS (Open Source Software) and AOSP Development on Exynos CPUs

Right now, the people who are leading the development on Exynos can be counted on one hand. but we are facing challenges. as to be expected. sooner or later, development will be extremally hard and almost impossible on devices that lost updates and are now EOL. the lack of any modern BSP (Board Support Package) or Drivers for any exynos platform released after 2017 makes us unable to compile new Audio, Graphics and other core blobs that are required. we are left to use closed source samsung blobs, which are already outdated on tons of models. we already faced a major challenge with graphics refusing to work properly on android R.

This will slowly apply to most parts of the ROM. and affect most of the exynos chips that are newer than Exynos 8890 (S5E8890). the older the device gets, the more prone to breakage it will be. Old blobs are not always gonna work, and luck will soon run out.

We are starting a massive fundraiser. lead by @Stricted and the remaining Exynos Developers. We want to raise enough funds, to purchase an Exynos 850 (S5E3830) Development Board. which will open the door to the latest Samsung BSP. and allow us to compile blobs for any modern samsung device. from Exynos 8895 (S5E8895) all the way to Exynos 9820 (S5E9820) and possibly Exynos 990 (S5E9830) or newer.

Full transparency. This will be done via a paypal pool, so everyone can see progress. The plan is to purchase this BSP. Due to how NDAs work, we cant just dump a private source code online.

A new BSP will give us insight on modern Graphics, Audio, Video encoding/decoding and tons more. no longer do we need to rely on outdated closed source Proprietary blobs that will break eventually and render devices obsolete.

Now obviously, you will look at the target and call BS. it is not cheap. and no one will drop this much money on a board....

except, they will, this has happened before in 2017. started by jesse chan, the community raised over 3000$ and bought an Exynos 8890 development board, which has made lineage possible on countless devices, including the S7, S6 and many more.

We are planning to repeat that.

Just leaving this piece of information here for anyone that might have the same issue.

I had an issue with a clean install where the "Pixel Tips" app just kept chugging battery and my phone was constantly hot, I ended up disabling the app through the system UI and the issue went away. I honestly have no idea how or why it occurred. I was able to easily identify this via the battery usage chart, checking between charges over the course of 2 days.

This was encountered using the latest gapps build for S8+ (G955-FD) [Havoc-OS-v3.9-20201002-dream2lte-Official-GApps.zip]

Beyond that, everything else has been working perfectly!

This rom is very stable, congratulations to the developers. I noticed that it drains a lot of battery maybe that depends on the cpu governor that is only "schedutil", could you add more governors to the kernel, maybe one that is more battery-save oriented?

I keep seeing multiple people say fast charging isn't working - but it is.

You won't see the text say "Fast charging" but it actually is fast charging. The AOD shows the current charge rate at the bottom. I get a consistent 2600~ when rapid charging. Keep in mind it will charge slower if near full battery, and rapid charge when low.
