Hey,
so my problem is that I want a custom image (local storage) in the qs. But when I choose an image it does absolutely nothing. Is that my fault? Wrong image format or is it a bug in the rom?

And it's absolutely perfect so far after dirty flashing over 3.8! Best Android 10 pixel experience ROM out there.

I've tried a lot of ROMs for the S8 and this one is the only one worthwhile for who loves Pixel phones and wants basically a light battery efficient, extremely fluid and smooth ROM. And significantly faster than a stock Pie ROM too.

It is true that it is good, although in battery and fluidity I have done better with the CrDroid ROM made by Transi1. Beautiful works both. They have practically the same thing, the only problem is that neither record calls, nor does it record screen with internal audio natively.

What is the camera like on this rom? does it have motion photos? Does 60fps recording and slow motion works?
Does 'Ok google' hot word works?

which version are you talking about? regular zgcam 7.4 just crashes for me

It's not perfect, but it works. Had no crashes or freezes.
tbh, i don't use my camera very often.

I just did a clean flash, every zgcam/gcam app just crashes on start. Not a big problem for me though, I don't really expect the phone to make studio-grade photos and the stock app is not that bad.

On a sidenote, skype seems to run into some issues whenever screen is off. Neither messages nor calls go through until the app gets to be in the foreground again. I tried disabling battery optimisations, giving it whatever permissions possible, installing different versions of the app and checking the notification permissions. So far no luck, unless the screen is on and the app is active nothing will ever happen.

I tried the beta (preview) version, with battery optimisation turned off - still no luck, calls and messages don't go through. The only solution that works for me is to install the lite version from 2019. It says it won't work without google services but actually does.

I have tried every Gcam far and wide, not one even started - so I can't even go into settings. Footej works fine though and I think it's good enough for me.

Can someone pls verify that in the latest ROM version wireless charging works?? I done know wether my S8 has stopped charging via wireless, or my wireless charger has stopped working. And I don't have another phone to verify.

you can use it to wake up device when locked.

1. Open file (eg. with Root Browser): System/usr/keylayout/gpio_keys.kl
2. Change command: key 172 WAKEUP
3. Safe file and change file permissions to: -rw-r--r-- (644)
4. Reboot

Cast from phone to Chromecast works?
Netflix videos?
Calls and messaging.
Just checking if these works on newest build which is marked as stable.

The ROM is perfect so far... Just a few bugs : double tap to wake is broken.... Screen colors are very dull .
Is there any custom kernel that can be used with this rom ?

The ROM worked well for the first week but it has now started lagging and having occassional freezes. Can someone please help? I have already tried flashing RAD kernel 3.5 but the problem still persists.
