I guess the issue isn't the SD Card like I thought then. Perhaps it's a gapps issue. Did you try with nano gapps?

No, I haven't. But im still using it and the pixel laucher stoped to crash!

I discovered another problem, i was listen do deezer (music) and when the phone turned off the screen a noise apeared distorting the music, wake up screen the noise gone.

I just dirty flash the ROM and it is working fine...
1)But Network Traffic Monitor and Volte not working.
2)Moto Camera is working but no 4k video recording.
3)Efficiency mode, Power mode which underclock the cpu is working on previous build is not working now.
4)battery mod working without efficiency mode and lack of moto mods software.
Everything is stable enough for me.......

@erfanoabdi Are the device tree and kernel up to date on the motoz-2016 github repo? Reason I'm asking is that I tried doing my own build yesterday and audio server still crashes on it where as with your dec 25 build it's good.

Edit: never mind. I see there are some un-merged things on the lineage Gerrit that are required. I'll wait until things stabilize a bit

No access to folders in external memory

Hello, I installed this rom and like the other unofficial Android 9 that there is in this forum, I have the same problem with the external store.

I notice that I can not access certain folders created in my external memory, a sandisk of 128 GB, and it is the same situation since I tried the first DP of android 9 (erfanoabdi) put here in the forums. And is that the folders appear only with the name and are displayed with 0 B, I do not know, as if it were another format, were empty, as if Android 9 was not able to read them, is this an error of Android 9 for the Moto Z? any solution?

hi i have just made a clean install but i cant enable the VoLTE and VoWIFI and i cant enable without this magisk module https://github.com/Magisk-Modules-Repo/VoEnabler and even with that i cant enable VoWIFI, but on stock works.

the option to enhanced 4g options only show after the install of magisk module.

the operator it's Vivo from Brazil (mcc 724 mnc 10), on LOS 15.1 i have the option to enable the enhanced 4G lte mode. but still the VoLTE and VoWIFI dont work.

i have check the apns and the only difference i have noticed its the apn IMS, but i have grabbed the info and replicated but without success.

I think you need to change the filesystem on the card. I noticed that pie does not support exfat

I just discovered I can't hear anything if somebody phones me or if I make a call. Everything appears to work fine when I go back to the latest stock rom. I just flashed your lineage 16 dec 25 build, gapps, wiped data and then grabbed a logcat after trying to call my voicemail. The call connects but I can't hear anything.

lags of some apps (google, twitter, chrome..)
randomly fc's on native camera

Adding to this. I am having issues playing music through the earpiece and over USB. Audio server keeps crashing, even without any audio software mods. Started happening with the latest 12/25 build. Bluetooth audio works without a hitch, surprisingly.

Regarding my Incipio battery mod, my device randomly shuts-down even if the internal battery level is above the critical shutdown threshold. For instance, my battery may report being at 100% yet after a sudden shutdown and plugging it in the charging screen displays the battery mod as being 100% but the internal battery at 1%. Immediately after that, and booting the phone, the battery level is 100%, same for the Moto mod via notification, but I know that the internal battery is not charged past ~4%. Removing the battery mod resulted in the battery level being at 0% and stayed at that even when charging for a long period. In Settings > Battery, the percent level is accompanied by "Unknown" below it. I plugged in the battery mod and the battery level changed back to 100%.

A fresh install does not resolve this. It has been persistent since these initial 9.0 builds. but not pre-9.0. As well, I have swapped the internal battery to see if this behavior would change and it did not. I included logs below. As for capturing battery data, I started by removing the battery mod, reattaching it, unplugging the power adapter and reinserting it then removing and reattaching the battery mod again in that order.

These are the only two major inconveniences for me currently, but at least I have Bluetooth headphones and access to a terminal for charging :laugh:

You have to turn on your device without the mod attached. Once the system is loaded, you can attach it.

When the system loads with the mod connected, it detect it as the default battery. It happens with all customs ROMs.

If you still have problems with your internal battery, you will need to change it.

I have the TurboPower mod and it happens to me too.

I had to change my battery as it was too thick and the display assembly wouldn't fit on the frame .. so in that aspect I know I'm fine.

But I did take note earlier regarding starting the device without the mod, thankfully that 'option' is available.

You mentioned this affects all custom ROMs. Do you mean only 9.x variants?

And 8.x variants.
As I have understood it reading in the forums, it is a kernel issue. It only works fine with the original one.

Also I forgot to mention that I recommend you to charge the mod via its own usb-C or if it does not have one, charge it with the smartphone turned off or it will damage the internal battery.

EDIT: @ExtraBasher this days I'm trying OmniROM and it works fine with battery mods, with Efficiency, that looks to be working fine as I have tested
