I tried to update latest version LOS 17.1 via Updater but failed, then i tried to manually update via TWRP and now stuck at loading and went back to TWRP
Tried to install another version of LOS but still stuck at loading and went back to TWRP
Anyone feel the same ?

Your device is encrypted, you can either switch back to the old los17.1 and save you data or just format data for the rom to work.

This is called Lock screen display, and since it's a significant battery drain, I think it would be better if it defaulted to off. You can disable it from Settings -> Display -> Lock screen display -> Always on.

Just wanted to upgrade from lineage-17.1-20210625-nightly-griffin-signed to lineage-17.1-20210702-nightly-griffin-signed via Install option in TWRP 3.3.1-0.
Also cleaned Dalvik Cache. Now it would just show the LineageOS loading animation and then return back to TWRP.
Any ideas how I can fix this? Installing lineage-17.1-20210625-nightly-griffin-signed from ZIP again didn't help.

Edit: After fiddling with this for several hours, I got things up and running again by sideloading the nightly and GApps as well (even though it was still the ZIP I had been installing earlier when migrating to LineageOS two weeks ago).

Yes,
As far as I know, there is no official Lineage 18.1 (Android 11) for the Moto Z (griffin) yet, am I right?, the most recent one at their website is 17.1 (Android 10) or am I missing something? Thanks.
Yes, there is no official Lineage 18.1, but Erfan started to update the sources so that Android 11 is buildable. That is why unofficial Android 11 roms for this device exist and I also build several roms for it.

LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 10, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

LineageOS is based on the Android Open Source Project with extra contributions from many people within the Android community. It can be used without any need to have any Google application installed. Linked below is a package that has come from another Android project that restore the Google parts. LineageOS does still include various hardware-specific code, which is also slowly being open-sourced anyway.

All the source code for LineageOS is available in the LineageOS Github repo. And if you would like to contribute to LineageOS, please visit out Gerrit Code Review. You can also view the Changelog for a full list of changes & features.

    Not Working :
    • All bugs fixed

    Instructions :
    • Download the latest build and gapps
    • Reboot to recovery
    • Flash the latest build, (magisk) and gapps
    • Reboot

    Downloads :

    Notes :
    • Only Battery Mod Support (no Efficiency)
    • Only Clean Installation Please
    • Bug Report Without logs means nothing

    Reporting Bugs :
    • DO NOT Report bugs if you installed Xposed
    • Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
    • If it is a random reboot, grab /sys/fs/pstore/console-ramoops and /sys/fs/pstore/dmesg-ramoops-0. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)

Remember to provide as much info as possible. The more info you provide, the more likely that the bug will be solved. Please also do not report known issues. Any bug not reported in the bug report format below may be ignored.

    Dear @erfanoabdi
Are there any chance that Android 10 based ROMs will come for Moto Z?

I'm pretty happy to announce that, after some long waiting times, the encryption fix ha been officially merged in the 17/06/2019 build. This means that no encryption fix package needs to be flashed from now on.

Enjoy the new build, new stuff coming pretty soon :)
