Last night I received the OTA update for 17.1 and downloaded it, but when I pressed "Install", the phone restarted and entered into recovery (TWRP), then I tapped on Reboot, then System, but the phone won't start, it only shows the starting animation, and then reboots again... any advice? Thanks!

Maybe reflash last version that worked for you or current one.
Maybe install process failed half way through...

FYI, Asking for the next build without participating in development could be considered inappropriate, and spamming the thread repeatedly to do so is even worse.

Also, even apart from forum expectations and rules, saying gimme gimme gimme to developers and maintainers who don't get paid and have no obligation to us seems counterproductive.

Yes, there is no official Lineage 18.1, but Erfan started to update the sources so that Android 11 is buildable. That is why unofficial Android 11 roms for this device exist and I also build several roms for it

Hello! I tried to flash this 18.1 version, but I erncountered same problem other user, loadind boot, rebooting and coming back to recovery. Using TWRP provided in 18.1 folder. I try install 17.1 and works, but I want try your rom. Wipe system, data, cache and dalvik, format data > yes, and same result. Please, some method to install it? Thanks in advance.

Hi guys,
thanks for still providing updates for this device. I decided to ressurect it as a backup phone.

Fresh, clean upgrade worked, booted just fine and is surprisingly fast.

Tho I still have one problem, and I don't really know anymore what/how I messed up with the last LOS (16).
Basically I can only access the external (micro) sdcard.
But I can't access the /storage/emulated or self folders.
(root / is obviously visible and shows 15gb of 23gb free, so there must be some data and OS stuff ...)

(And weirdly, in TWRP I'm not able to access the external sd
but I can see internal storage, which is /sdcard )

Any idea how to fix that ?
(it seems also all apps are installed on external storage, at least magisk complains about it)

    LineageOS is a free, community built, aftermarket firmware distribution of Android 10, which is designed to increase performance and reliability over stock Android for your device.

    • Flash the latest build, (magisk) and gapps

    Reporting Bugs :
    • DO NOT Report bugs if you installed Xposed
    • Grab a logcat right after the problem has occurred. (Please include at least a few pages of the log, not just the last few lines, unless you know what you're doing.)
    • If it is a random reboot, grab /sys/fs/pstore/console-ramoops and /sys/fs/pstore/dmesg-ramoops-0. (Do not bother getting a logcat unless you can get it just before the reboot. A logcat after a reboot is useless)

    I'm pretty happy to announce that, after some long waiting times, the encryption fix ha been officially merged in the 17/06/2019 build. This means that no encryption fix package needs to be flashed from now on.

    Enjoy the new build, new stuff coming pretty soon :)
