[ROM] [10] OmniRom for OnePlus7T Pro [EXPERT]

guys does anyone know if any other kernel work with this rom? I have issues with usb dac which I connect with usb type c to female usb, it`s otg cable but when I connect it somehowpower from the kernel is not enough to power it. Had same issue on stock oos until I flashed ElementalX but this kernel throw the phone is bootloop. Probably someone more experienced have info how to fix this? Thanks

Hey mate, thanks for replying it doesnt matter if otg switch is on or off, it works! The thing is, It`s not rom problem or otg cables etc. I spend two days trying to figure it out what is wrong, becouse I get it working on stock rom and even now I don`t know how BUT I was mistaken becouse android 10 should support hi res audio out of the box, that`s not the case, only via bluetooth (which is nowhere good as wired connection). I installed third party player that bypasses android audio driver and all works as it should, I can enjoy hi res music on my phone
I want to report one little bug, when using oneplus camera and want to switch to portrait mode camera crashes every time. When I enter camera and first select video mode and then portrait it works, also with long press on camera icon and select portrait it works as it should. Not a big deal, just to let you know
Btw how is battery life for you compared to stock? Before that I used iPhone 11 pro max and that phone is champ for battery life definately so maybe I have different expectations

Good to know! Is there any way to disable/delete oneplus camera? I saw disable button is grayed out. Other than that I really enjoy the rom, very smooth and very customisable!

if it really bothers you use a launcher that support hide apps
other then that there is no way without having root

found a way to disable it, using magisk debloater module
guys does dolby atmos actually work? I can`t hear the difference in songs when changing from movie to music and vice versa?

thanks a lot mate! will perform clean install right now! btw did you tried any black substratum theme? I had issues with header, it stays like black brick above quick settings no matter what I select in the substratum menu, that doesn`t happen in stock oos. Anyway... really appreciate your job, you guys made our phone even better! keep up the good work!

edit: tried, headers stay like a black brick, substratum can`t theme it properly. please fix this in next release so we can enjoy black themes like we should

Which theme did you try? Pitch black?
I will also flash this Omni, just need some freetime to do a clean flash.
What about the camera? Do you get the same quality like in OOS?

Camera is the same quality. If you prefer more bokeh pictures go with gcam mod.
Substratum can`t theme properly, I mean themes do work but as I said there is issue with header which stay black no matter which theme you choose. If you pupm u the brightness even on default theme is visible, but with black themes more. Excellent rom btw

guys I found fix for headers if anyone is bothered. just create transparent png image on your pc and load that picture as header. looks great

mate don`t get me wrong, please. on stock oos and even stock android hader is black faded to little trasparent on sides of the quick settings. on omni by default is like black statusbar. when theme is applyed looks strange. if you change header image somehow fix it but it`s more pulled down than before. see it closely and you will notice probably that`s how omni was builded, maybe it`s like that intentionally. thanks for your hard work!

check stock layout https://android.googlesource.com/pl.../packages/SystemUI/res/layout/qs_panel.xml#39
Means the bg is full black - so whatever you saw on OOS or "stock android" is not whats in official Q aosp sources

we can talk about setting transparency also without enabled header images but that will
cost you something
