Could be corrupted or whatnot. I'm not sure what went wrong. Try updating and see whether it works

I use the ROM, it's very good.
But it has some bugs.
Google Maps crashes Sony
It takes 5 minutes for Sim to be detected.
Android web viewer cannot be updated because many apps will not work.
Smart lock screen cannot be disabled.

I hope there will be an update.

Has anyone had issues with camera error on the rear camera? The default camera, Open Camera, even Gcam mods and Whatsapp prompt this "camera error" dialogue quite frequently. It's not permanent per say, the camera still works most of the time, but I would say 1 in every 5 uses triggered it. No, restarting phone don't fix it.

Agreed. As I said in the previous posts, these free roms and updates take time for developers to roll out. Really thank to those who took their time in supporting Sony devices which people dont really use that much compared to Poco, Xiaomi, Samsung etc. And it's, as far as I'm concerned, the ONLY rom that officially supported Xperia XZ Premium by PE. So chill, people. Unless if you're good at coding, feel free to join and help them. Otherwise, patience. I can wait all day whilst swiping around that beautiful Android 10 gestures ;)

The new update is here guys. But....
I tried to update from OTA. It downloaded but it didnt apply the update. Flashing the update from TWRP (big mistake) causes bootloop so I had to flash the whole rom hahaha.
Is the OTA update working for you guys? And not sure what about the ODM....
Also, the Android Webviewer works with the latest version!

Thanks for the changelog list. But I dont see stock apps anywhere throughout the system. Xperia camera, album, movie creator etc.

Those apps should be there by default along with Xperia Email and Keyboard.

Yea none of them are here. Tried to download them from Google Play and it said "Your device isn't compatible with this version". I don't really mind the other Xperia apps though, but camera is probably one of the most needed ones for me at least.

Are you sure you downloaded the right ROM and flashed correctly?

The one which is updated have all Apps

Oh I just realised that there's the unofficial version which includes the stock sony apps. Haha my bad. But I've set up as my daily driver anyway so all good. Thanks!

    Instructions :

    SECURITY ADVICE

    Don't flash ROMs or Magisk modules which set SELinux to permissive or you welcome malware on your device!


    Install Latest Firmware

    • Grab the Sony Stock firmware using e.g. XPeriFrim. You should always flash the firmware matching the LOS build.
    • Grab newflasher and put it in the same folder as the firmware files.
    • Read the newflasher original post on XDA for general instructions!
    • Remove the following from the folder so they won't get flashed:
      • all *.ta files (keep the one in the boot/ directory)
    • Turn off your phone
    • Hold the volume down button and attach it via USB to your system till you see LED turning green
    • Run newflasher from within this directory to flash the remaining files
    • Skip the second optional step (dumping of trim area), it's useless if your bootloader is unlocked already and takes a long time.
    • Hit Yes for all the next questions asked in Newflasher(Only dumpin of trim area should be selected no and rest all questions should be selected as yes.
    • Once Newflasher flashes the Stock rom, boot into it and make sure volte is available.(VOLTE WILL NOT WORK ON BLISS IF YOU DO NOT HAVE IT IN STOCK ROM.
    • Incase you are not able to see volte icon in stock either your carrier does not support it or there is an issue with the stock rom(Try flashing it again).
    • Once you confirm Volte is available in stock, Flash the TWRP recovery and follow below instructions carefully.
    • Boot into recovery >> Format Data >> Power off the Phone.
    • Again boot into recovery >> Format Data >> Power off the Phone.
    • This time boot into recovery >> Wipe Internal Storage.
    • Flash ROM, Gapps, Magisk.
    • In the setup wizard select SIM 1 as the default sim for calls data and message.
    • Once Boot is complete, wait patiently for few mins.
    • Gto *#*#4363#*#* >> Phone Information >> IMS status.
    • Voilllaa you should have volte and dual sim both enabled.


    Google Apps

    Gapps are already included in the ROM and no need to flash it again.
