So, does this mean that the deb version will not have cellular connectivity? If so, why have a deb?
No you misunderstood the other person wanted to flash the flo build (Wifi Only) on his deb, if i make a deb build and you flash it on your deb then you should be able to get cellular connectivity but if you flash the flo build on your deb you will lose those features because it doesn't have the files built into the rom to make cell connectivity work so if you need those i would prefer you to wait until i can release a updated deb build. Hope this helps.

Of course I understand that. The words "if I make a deb build," however, are a bit depressing. ?

i dont mind losing the LTE but im afraid of hard bricking it... i do saw in some forum saying not recommended and it may brick the device... currently using your 9.0 rom. much snappier than lineage 17.1. nice rom. love it! :):) I think i will stick to it until you release the 10.0 ROM for deb. the only thing i miss in 10.0 is the dark mode. feels weird for not having dark mode for gmail.
Flashing a rom wont hard brick your tablet it will only soft brick it so you shouldn't have to worry. You can always go back into twrp and flash another rom or restore your backup. You can buy a usb otg so you can backup your rom to a flash drive if you dont have enough internal storage space. Cheers!

Pie or Q?

I'm just about to dive into upgrading my flo from the stock 6 rooted build that I've been running for the last 4 years.
With the huge amount of great ROMs that I've found, I've decided that I'd like to go with the Pixel Experience.
I'm just curious if anyone has an opinion on whether I should go with the Pie or Q build? Aside from app compatibility in Q, anything else to take into consideration?
Any recommendation would be great (even if it's to say that I should go with a different ROM) :p
And thanks for all the hard work that goes into these ROMs, I can't wait to be able to appreciate it!

Hello there everyone i want to thank you all for your kind words and patience waiting for me to release my roms and updates. You all motivate me and make me so happy and i am glad to be making roms for ya'll again. Two new builds for PE Q flo have been posted. You will need to wipe everything except internal storage with this one because i had to merge the opengapps files into the ROM instead of the PE gapps. So sorry dirty flashing the new PE Q 15th build is highly not recommended. Chrome and setup wizard is now fixed and you won't get any more force closes and when you first boot you will see the setup wizard now. Also you pretty much have all the google apps you need in the ROM except for google calendar, google photos, gmail, and google keyboard. You can download those from the play store. I also included simple keyboard as well as the aosp keyboard. You also get April 2020 security patches. Everything should be working fine as i tested everything and they are working for me. If you can't get deep sleep to work under location in setting turn both wifi and bluetooth scanning off. This worked for me my tablet goes into deep sleep just fine. The deb PE Q builds have just finished building but i still have to modify it to make it work perfectly however i will still need you guys to test and report if everything is working like lte or cell connectivity as i don't have a deb device to test. I need this done before i can make that thread for deb. Remember don't flash gapps and do a full clean flash and report back for both flo and deb. Cheers and happy 2020!

Edit: Chrome issue is still present as of right now.

I recently resized and wiped the partitions and rebooted prior to flashing the ROM from the 14th and the 15th. It's stuck on the boot screen for 10-15 minutes and I don't know if something got messed up or if it takes a while. The Internal storage cannot get wiped for some reason using TWRP 3.3.1-1, but after redoing the TWRP and going back to TWRP 3.3.1-1 and not formatting/wiping the Internal storage, it's still stuck at the Google logo and still loading.

Nexus 7 2013 32GB flo (Wi-Fi) and installed from USB-OTG (the zip file was correct, but I should probably redownload it). I checked the MD5 hash and they match by typing in certutil -hashfile filename.zip MD5 and comparing the hash in the command prompt to the one in the site and they match.

Pushed the file via ADB and got it installed, but still not getting past the loading screen.

Flashed another ROM onto it to get all of the directories in /sdcard back and didn't wipe the internal storage this time. I'll update in a while and see what happens.

Still doing the same thing. Am I doing something wrong?

Just flashed the new build. Loving having the pixel experience on my old nexus 7. Everything seems to be working great except chrome. I cant have it open for more than a couple minutes before it force closes. Is there anything i could be missing? Love the rom thanks for your hard work!!

Yeah that's wierd chrome was working for me earlier but now its force closing for me. I will look into the issue and maybe @followmsi can also help me with this issue and look into it.

I think i found the fix though but i will test it first but for now i will edit the OP.

Cheers:)

You probably didn't resize your system correctly i would pm clamor or write a message on his resize system thread and see if he can help you because i honestly don't know what really went wrong with your setup and i don't know how to fix that at the moment. Sorry i hope i helped in some way.

The partitions got resized correctly and the TWRP version is 3.1.1-1 UA. The only issue was the TWRP app wanted to get installed, so after selecting do not install, it booted up all the way and restoring the backup I made 2 days ago. Didn't realize that can cause an issue with the ROM setup by sliding to install the TWRP app, but all is well now. Going to install the Magisk root and the manager. Looks really good so far. Had slight issues with the network connection and getting the apps and stuff back on my tablet from the backup, but I got that all sorted now (Google Play services said the SMS was not allowed for the app, which was odd, but after denying and allowing the SMS for Play services and stopping the service to get it to start again, it works).

Ran SafetyNet and it failed at 2 spots:
Basic integrity
CTS profile match

And Netflix cannot be found due to the failed SafetyNet features, plus, when I reboot, the lock screen doesn't unlock after I enter my PIN. Not sure if that's a common bug or not, but I haven't had issues with Chrome yet. Other than that, the ROM is pretty good and the interface is really neat.

Amazing work on this ROM man, it's pretty fast compared to other Q based ROMs.
Any way to completely uninstall Nova Launcher, I don't use it and the icon in the drawer bother me.
It cannot be disabled directly from the settings. I have root, I installed Root Uninstaller (Play Store) and managed to disable it with that app.
I don't know if it can be uninstalled with Debloater (Magisk Module).
