I only have one experience flashing an alternative kernel which worked fine. Search this thread for "kernel" to see some references. Try at your own risk.

For me, it's not about official or not, but having full control. My phone works perfectly with a solid Android version.
Well, more eyes look over the source code. That's a good thing by official. Main problem is here the security updates. For me, it's not about official or not, but having full control. My phone works perfectly with a solid Android version.
Very true about the source code. You don't install just anything, of course.Well, more eyes look over the source code. That's a good thing by official. Main problem is here the security updates.
I'm still on this. Reading all those A11 and A12 threads, I'm glad I stayedHello, I just wanted to write again in this thread, because I'm still hoping that the development of this Rom goes on. Unfortunately, I do not use them, since I'm now unattended to Android 11.
Unfortunately, I have not found a Rom so far, which, on the one hand, permits the highest(!) level of changes to a Rom and on the other hand almost completely renounced on Google-crap (all "Vanilla" Rom I have tested have either Google Cam or Gallery, etc.)
I know DEVs also have an RL and will not be paid for their valuable work.
That's why I just wanted to express this desire that the development of this Rome continues. Amen and thank you for 2 minutes of your attention!
Greetings

P.S: If a further work is in progress - what I do not know, see that as a thanksgiving for your great work !!!
I agree. It is an excellent ROM. It allowed me to go without gapps and magisk/root, yet with two important features to me: auto call recording and battery charge limit, already in the ROM out of the box.Hello, I just wanted to write again in this thread, because I'm still hoping that the development of this Rom goes on. I realize that we belong to a minority: people that just want a degoogled phone and with a reasonable level of security.
Maybe arrowOS 11/12 - Not quite as many change modes as RR but timely updates! Can we please get security updates on this rom?
Or alternatively, what's the closest similar ROM that gets actively maintain
try aicp by @Carlos Arriaga. you may check out his builds for poco x3 and post your comments here..... alternatively, what's the closest similar ROM that gets actively maintained?
How witty of you.
I meant replace the pastebin domain from dogbin to something else in the code, so that the "Copy crash log URL" works as intended inside the OS. Barring that, can I actually find these crash logs saved somewhere on my local storage, so I can upload them to the alternatives you so kindly linked?
But this only applies to the stock miui rom. Is there anything like this menu in RR? Sounds very useful to have.Recalibrate proximity sensor.
1. open settings
2. click all specs
3. click Kernel Version 3 milion times
4. CIT menu will open.
5. click three dots top right corner
6. click additional tools
7. select option nr.10 proximity sensor
8. click calibrate.
9 go back to CIT
10. Select option nr. 15 proximity sensor to test
