hello everyone
i have a problem i do it all as mentioned follow the instruction but the issue is it only boot to recovery twrp

here my info i use twrp 3.5.2_10-5-surya
i downloaded RROS-Q-8.6.9-20210609-surya-Official
i use poco x3 nfc
i followed Instruction in

after i faced the problem
i tried installing many versions but no luck

the sequence of booting to "system" is

poco logo
vibrating
poco logo
twrp

fastboot is working twrp is working

i found people talk about firmware updater installationfor the phone must be done before flashing RR rom

can anyone explain if should i use this method "note that i cant find the surya_fw_vendor_V12.0.8.0.QJGMIXM_08f5c8_10.0.zip"?

Yes, flash latest Android 10 MIUI using Xiaomi tool (careful not to relock bootloader), install TWRP, FORMAT data, and install ROM.

Those are basic steps, all over every thread on flashing. If you aren't prepared to search and research, better leave things as they are

What precisely have you done?
What firmware are you on? You need to be on A10.

Then you most likely need to "downgrade" (only in numerical sense, not quality ) to A10. Flash the latest A10 MIUI and go from there.

I think about to move to A11. I guess A12 is not stable enough as of now. Installed A12 Evolution X on my Mi A1. The phone crashes sometimes.

Coming from RR, which custom rom based on A11 is stable and has similar settings. For instance I appreciate to control volume per app. Also th Mi Sound Enhancer is nice.

Any suggestions? I would wait for RR but it seems RR project for surya has died.

There is (unfortunately) not that much choice anymore. Havoc OS still has quite a lot of customization options. it is also well mentained.

I would make sure the A11 ROM you choose will continue to receive updates. Otherwise, what's the point of moving to an "older" ROM. A13 is already coming out...

That's difficult or impossible. See RR. Used RR since MI A1. In this regard I wonder what it means when a rom is 'official'.

Official means the team behind the ROM (for all devices) approved a maintainer for our device. So, if this maintainer moves on to another device, it's a little bit more likely someone else may be able to carry on - no guarantees either way.

Anyway, this A12 is looking promising:

Hello, sorry if this is not the right place to ask this, please redirect me if that is the case.
So, I'm using RR 8.6.5, and I can't seem to copy log urls when an app crashes. Let me explain.

So there is this app that crashes on my phone and I want to copy a logcat to send to the developer. After the second crash comes up a menu "App keeps crashing" that has an option "Copy crash log url", but every time I tap it, it shows a toast message "An error occured while uploading the log to dogbin", and nothing gets copied to the clipboard. Is there any way to fix this, or another equally easy way to copy and upload logs?

I've downloaded MatCat and followed the instructions in the OP, recording in debug mode the 2 crashes of the app called "QRalarm", then an attempt to upload and copy the crash log: https://pastebin.com/4hfKzHxr

Any help would be highly appreciated! <3

EDIT: Okay I feel stupid now, dogbin doesn't exist since a year ago. Is there a way to replace it with another pastebin service?

I meant replace the pastebin domain from dogbin to something else in the code, so that the "Copy crash log URL" works as intended inside the OS. Barring that, can I actually find these crash logs saved somewhere on my local storage, so I can upload them to the alternatives you so kindly linked?

Hey, I just updated my FW and ROM to the latest versions for A10 (FW 12.0.9.0, RR 8.6.9) up from RR 8.6.5 (unknown FW, probably one from around December 2019), and I have some issues with my proximity sensor. It worked perfectly before the update.

Basically, the sensor still works somewhat, detecting things infront of it, but it doesn't always switch off when the thing is no longer infront of it. I downloaded an app from the playstore called "Sensortest" that allows me to see exactly when it's on and off. So almost always when I go to unlock my phone it greets me with "Press and hold the power button to unlock", which means the proximity sensor is on, when it shouldn't be.

Is this a known issue, and is there any way to resolve it? Perhaps a patch, a module, or a custom kernel that could fix it? Maybe wiping cache or dalvik in TWRP (I didn't wipe anything when installing the new FW and RR)?
