Responded in chat too .. but it doesn't look like you updated directions on how to flash new builds. They look like regular TWRP zips (the builds on omnirom with gapps). Did I miss something?

lost signal during call ;/

i can´t use this rom.

i am from germany and use vodafone as provider.

every time i get a call or i call out the call ended.
most time it happens after few seconds.

i think, when i calling the signal lost during the call.

i tested in 3G (UMTS) and in 4G (LTE) network.
always the same problem.

so this great rom is useless for me and i get back to stock ...

Hey everybody! I have some really good news, this ROM is NOT dead. I was able to extract the necessary files from the most current ROM that I pulled from the official site and packaged it into a RAR archive. I've already flashed it onto my wife's phone and it's running wonderfully. I can upload it somewhere but I need suggestions. It's 653 MB and you'd use the same flashing instructions as in the OP. Please let me know.

I see the latest Beta was released in February.

Are you still developing this ROM or your comment is just a joke?
No it's not a joke. As @MicrosoftBug said, he was able to find latest builds himself.

You can find weekly builds here :
GApps : https://dl.omnirom.org/tmp/def/
microG : https://dl.omnirom.org/def/

You can extract the payload.bin using payload extrator to get the images that you can flash with fastboot (search for it on Google to get some tutorials)
Then you'll have weekly update with builtin updater. (Omni developement is almost done now on Q tho, we're waiting for R sources.)

Looking into installing this rom. I have a few questions.. sorry but I am new at this but have rooted and such before.

Does this disable the OTA updating?
When Google releases security updates, can I extract them from the factory rom and install them to this rom or do i have to wait til this is rom is updated?
If I can extract and update, how difficult is this to do?

Thanks

First i have to unlock the bootloader and then i have to follow the steps in the first post?
I just ordered the phone and i don't want to have brick.

Security patches are merged every months, no need worry about that.

Just installed onmi today, the phone no longer heats up during normal use and the battery life is much better. Beyond that, I tested volte and vowifi. Both work BETTER than stock on T-Mobile. The stock camera can be installed too and it works great, apps like fng and reachability cursor work as well. The rom itself has almost no bugs too, I can just think of minor things that need to be changed, like the led on when on call feature from stock, statusbar padding, legacy app scaling, etc...

The only big thing I can think of is that using omniswitch for recents doesn't work sometimes, as in it won't trigger or trigger too late.

Anyways, thanks a lot Vache. This phone really needs a custom rom...

Press the volume down and power button together for a few seconds and see what comes up.

Also try this...

Thanks for the suggestion but the phone doesn't power on at all, not even to fastboot. No lights, no screen, nothing. I already tried that Motorola tool and it relies on fastboot.

That's no good, sorry. Try claiming warranty if you can't get it to work...
There are some tools for cell phone repair shops, I used to use on dead zte and samsung devices. I'll post a link later, if I find it.
