I would appreciate any help that points me to a step-by-step guide for the installation process.

AFAIK, whyred is the codename for RN5.

DONT FLASH the whyred ones. flash the clover one instead. If you insist on flashing the whyred zip files, you might brick your mi pad 4.

Very happy with this rom

I installed this rom coming from Xiaomi-EU versions.
With that large variety of settings I was able to recreate almost everything I liked about MIUI
Works almost perfect for me now.

I have only 3 very little complaints:

1. when using the dock search bar there's always light-grey fontcolor on white background in the search-app. (see attached picture) I didn't find a way to change something here.
   I know to use google's widget instead - but I prefer inbuilt one
   ##
   Edit: found a solution for nr. 1 somewhere - search for "pixelbridge.apk"
   ##
2. superior gesture settings working very well - but i really miss a security double swipe feature for fullscreen gaming
   
3. adaptive brightness doesn't remember my preferred level - i have to adjust again after every standby. mostly too dark (switched off atm)

thats all - the rest is really beautiful!!!
