Unlocked Bootloader?

Received my new RN7P yesterday and want to get this PE ROM. First timer here may be it's too silly question but just wanted to be sure before starting.

Will this new guide using aosprecv4 requires Unlocked Boot-loader as prerequisite?
and if I unlock boot-loader will my device warranty void?

Yes you need an unlocked bootloader.
Just unlocking bootloader doesnt void your warranty but installing custom recoveries and custom rom will void your warranty.

One more thing if you want a rom similiar to pixel expirience you can use pixel plus ui its supports anx camera and magisk. Pixel expirience doesnt support magisk or anx camera. Although you can flash them

So I flashed my violet to stock MIUI 11 with an unlocked bootloader, flashed TWRP 3.3.1-1 and tried to flash PE10+
After flashing the firmware (Global_V11.0.8.0) and then flashing the rom, it patches the system image and the firmware but doesn't patch a vendor. After trying to reboot the system it just shows the redmi logo and takes me back to the fastboot page. Any suggestion?
Note: I also tried flashing the latest vendor for violet (MIUI Global_V11.0.8.0) after flashing PE10+ and deleted the compatability.zip file too but still no difference. I love using PEPlus and would very much like to flash the ROM on to my device so any help would be appreciated.

What error you encounter when u try to flash in fastboot? Have you unticked flash all and lock în mitool? Cause if you locked the bootloader you cannot be able to flash. If your bootloader its locked you must re-download your firmware (the legit one) and need service account from xiaomi and it can be flashed în emergency download mode which means to open the back case of the device and do like în this video: https://youtu.be/fHmQuQTJoDo or i can help you with a number to a guy who can help you for $4. You will cannot install the rom with twrp. Go to telegram, and search for pixel experience group. There you will found aosprecv4, download it, download the rom, latest one, and flash your rom în Windows. Read carefully how to flash. Peplus rom not suport magisk.

I am missing calls in this rom like the the caller makes the whole call but my phone doesn't show it or anything.

I'm not using this rom anymore but I don't think name calling is appropriate. The dev is under no obligation to support this.

1. I am missing some calls some time
2. Screen cast not working
3. Double tap to wake only works sometimes
4.Restrict data usage of apps isn't working like for whatsapp

Am I the only one who is experiencing some new bugs after the may update

- app section in settings does not work anymore ( even long pressing to open up app info in the app drawer does not work either)

- Brightness cranks up all the way when using keyboard

- There's no option to take a long screenshot ( searched the entire settings menu but still not able to configure that)

- and GCAM does not update from the playstore ( not even if I download the apk) //I'm not sure if this is a bug or some other thing



Appreciate your work guys ... It's the best ROM for my device...

You can't flash with twrp or orange fox recovery. You must go to telegram group (pixel experience) download aosprecv4, than the rom, read instruction, and install via aosp adb sideload with pc. Remember, when you install, your internal card will be formatez, so if you need something from there you must make a backup first.
