I have this weird issue when updating the rom, it happened twice already so maybe its a pattern. When i update without wiping data, just as the instructions suggest, it always induces a bootloop, i couldnt find a reason why. Will not dirty flash anymore

This might be an obvious thing, but did you grant microphone permission to your phone app?
Microphone permission is granted to Phone by default. I double-checked.

Did you make sure you flash the February image to both your A&B slot?
I did. On my second attempt, I flashed the factory image to both slots, then flashed Bootlegger's onto the active boot slot (A). I ran into the same issue with phone calls, so I flashed the radio and vendor partitions again and ended up in the exact same place I was before. I can hear them, but they can't hear me. At this point, I think I'm going to just wait for an update to the ROM.

Did you flash Magisk right after flashing the ROM? Did you flash the TWRP zip file after flashing the ROM? Any other mods you flashed?

Please Help

I've tried to flash this probably 10 times.

1. I flashed the stock Feb image, fastboot booted in twrp "only version for blueline," wipe, advanced wipe, check everything but internal storage and completed the wipe, finally from twrp I flashed the rom zip and hit reboot system. I get the roms boot animations but never gets pass this stage. I have tried many times starting with a fresh flash of Feb firmware.

2. I have also followed all the steps above except on the wipe step I just slid for a factory reset.

I'm lost. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey guys,

For those having issues updating:

Make sure youre on last build

download latest google factory image

Fastboot flash bootloader
reboot to bootloader

fastboot flash radio.img

reboot

fastboot flash vendor(slot a and then b to be safe)

reboot to recovery

wipe dalvic and art, and system only!

twrp advanced, adb sideload most recent bootleggers

wait until finished

flash twrp again (if you want)

reboot

profit

flash magisk again, if you need root:)

if you follow the link in the 1st post, you will not get to the latest version. it is a build from 01/19. follow the link to all builds and choose the latest one.

Hi, just a quick question, how do I turn off the flash light blinking when I receive calls ?

Also is auto brightness broken ?

EDIT: solved! No problems on ROM atleast now. Except whatsapp n some apps start to lag while scrolling a bit later.

System / Bootleg Dumpster / Miscellaneous - Blink Flashlight on call

Its here, by default, its selected as disabled but tap on that select some other option, then tap OK, then tap again on it and select disable. This is probably a bug that it shows disabled but isn't.

Change of Maintainership.

Hey everyone, good evening (it's 9pm here in the UK). I hope everyone is doing well. I would just like everyone to know that I'm the new maintainer for this ROM, and below, you will find a link to (currently) my G Drive folder containing two builds. One is labeled 0226 and one is 0221. I would like to kindly ask you all to please be aware that I am considering these as test builds, before I publish the first official. This is only for the transitioning period as I will have an official build ready for when I take over, but for the meantime should any bugs occur, please either PM me or quote this post. Please include logcats where applicable, and I will do my utmost best to assist you. But for now, let's get this show underway!

Please keep me informed on whether these run well for you or not. They work fine for me, but every device has its kink. Cheers!

Hey, thanks for the updates. Would it be possible to have a friendly naming convention for the ROM like only the official builds have suffix stable used and the rest have some other thing? I believe that would lessen the confusion. :)

I think it is a temp thing until he takes over as maintainer. He is just getting ahead of it and making sure his builds are working for others before the switch. It is an official/stable build, but needs some people to test if it is functioning the same as when it was build on another machine.
