Ahh, yes. The suggestion for apps and whatnot that is included in the stock rom relies on a library that is part of the system and (I believe - don't hold me to these words) this library is exclusive to the P3.
I do not know of the search tab issue you are on about. Could you explain this to me?

P.S. I do not know if adding this functionality is possible, as if you also tried on Lineage when that is released, you will face the same issue. This ROM is used on many devices, and I believe this is a device specific feature.

Yes i tried that but the problem is there's no suggestion apps in that or suggestion action for me i don't know how i did everything correctly flashed rom correctly did setup correctly and everything right step by step but still. All this problems are not big and still will use the rom but I'll like to see it done. (Search tab will be awesome if i got fixed)

Latest build of bootlegger rom and nothing else is added

---------- Post added at 02:26 AM ---------- Previous post was at 02:25 AM ----------

Its addblocker from xda labs
Yes, try turning your VPN off. I don't understand what your issue is, if you can't get it working after that, you may have disabled something or the Google App is dead. Honestly, I'd say a fresh flash would do the trick.

Happy New Year y'all ! To begin the new year, a new build is out, 2019-01-02 !
For more information about the 4.0 version, please visit this post on the official Bootleggers website.

- Music visualizer on ambient display has been added !

Concerning our device, this build has finally Kirisakura Kernel inbuilt ! It works like a charm, enjoy this smooth and snappy build, thanks again to Freak07 for the kernel !
Check OP for download link and flashing instructions. Enjoy the ROM !

Following the install directions is important, especially the wipe instructions. I know you've been having issues with rooting, etc, so either you're doing something wrong or your device might possibly have some issues. If you can, try to set up the rom with a minimum of apps you need and slowly add apps to see what starts to break things. Especially exclude stuff that's far removed from stock, like root, etc.
I will try this. I ended up taking a break for a few days over new year's becuase I had gotten really frustrated. :p
I see there's a new build, I'll work fresh with that one. But do you know if, for new builds, I always have to start from scratch, or can I apply it as an update and keep all my current configuration?

Also, is there the ability to suggest features? I know there are a few features from my AEX ROM on my Samsung that I'm really going to miss (swipe on notification bar to quick change brightness, and the ability to program a button to shrink the screen for one-handed use, among a few other things)

What I do is make a nandriod, backup in twrp, of the data partition (store it off your device, memory stick works well). You can do others if you want but you'll only need the data. Then once you flash the rom, I usually let it boot up once to make sure it's work and boot back to the bootloader and to recovery. Then restore the data partition. It'll put back all your apps and settings. Note, that pics, music, etc, stuff on your internal sdcard card are not backed up.

Edit, an update of the rom should install over the previous build, just don't do any wipes.

I've been running this before it got uploaded here, courtesy of Squid etc. and I've been dirty flashing every build. When updating to a new build, flash ROM and TWRP in same session. Magisk is not important at that point but ONLY flash magisk when updating if it was previously rooted.

Just an FYI for others, the SIM card for Project Fi isn't supported by this ROM yet and the eSIM doesn't work with Google Fi app yet either, at least not yet.

But have you really read the instructions ??? I'm sorry, the development takes a long time and then lose more time making it known, it seems unreal that there are people who ask what is perfectly indicated in the post

Noticed on the 12/29 build that I can't turn off the charging sound when charging wirelessly. Doesn't make the sound when plugging in wired to charge.

Not sure if this is fixed on the newest build.

Well I know i did, but I may have forgotten the specific contents after a week, if you're aware of something in there that I've asked about subsequently. I apologize, I understand how that must be frustrating, but it's not intentional, I just have a terrible memory.
