dope, downloading now, will test shortly.

Q: AOSP rom meaning active edge etc. wont work correct?
Yes, active edge isn't working, Pixel Stand special features too (because sources are closed off by Google) but all other Pixel stuff works well.

What are the special features included?
I added a list of features included in the ROM in the OP if you want to check it out.

update-
followed instructions, did full wipe, flashed rom, flashed twrp zip, rebooted, doesn't boot up, just bootloops back into fastboot
just like the other rom on this forum.

Can we just put a pause on this and have a collective effort to figure out why this doesn't work for the majority of us?

Sure, we'll look why you faced this issue and how to solve it.
Which version of TWRP are you using ? Did you flash the latest bootloader version (December patch) ?

-yes i was already on December update.
- twrp 3.2.3-2.zip

Same thing happens on the other rom in the forum for me, and for dozens and dozens of others.
Can you try to fastboot boot 3.2.3-3 TWRP before flashing the ROM, flash ROM then TWRP and reboot system ?

that's not the way we do that here.
We boot twrp from fastboot and then flash the zip within the bootable twrp.
Flashing twrp from fastboot has not been proven to be successful.

Also, i'm back on stock now, had to use the flashall.bat :\

I have not tried this room yet but for the other rooms for first flash, I had to fastboot boot twrp and install the rom with the fastbooted twrp. When I would use the twrp installed on phone it would not flash right for some reason. Give that a shot if you haven't yet.

I just described all the steps that I used to flash the ROM and it is working for me and for the people that tested with me. You should give it a try.

Think we can possibly get this rom working on the pixel 3? I would love to test.
Yes I can build it for Pixel 3 (blueline) if you want it, I will do it when I have some spare time. :)

I will volunteer and help develop the rom. It's been awhile and I need to flash! I have a crosshatch though.

Is it possible to use this rom without the theme in the screenshots? What if I prefer the normal pixel look? Can I still use this rom for those features?

Sure, the theme is optional, when you install the ROM you have the default Pixel theme, but you have the choice to theme it like you want in display settings.
