So, I'm new to Android 10 / Bootleggers 5
Should we re-flash twrp over the Lineage OS Recovery once we've sideloaded the ROM?

And do we need to boot Bootleggers at least once, before flashing the magisk image, in order to set the correct A/B boot slot?

Twrp is not compatible with android 10 currently

Yes, please boot ROM before flashing magisk patched boot image

I don't see the option to customize the Recents / Multitasking UI

Is there any intention of adding in the old options? I used the "Slim" option; nice and thin, and showed lots of apps by default. I really despise the stock Pixel's "one-app-on-screen-at-a-time" approach

Too many missing settings in 5.1 comparing to 4.3:
* Classic navbar: cursor buttons were extremely useful while text editing!
* Lock screen: no 4x4 pattern.
* Status bar: unable to configure date and time format anymore.
* Notification counter does not work.
* Active edge does not work in 5.1. Minor but cool feature.
and many more...
Now I had to return to 4.3.

Any chances to see old good stuff in Q builds?

I practice a google free lifestyle. Is there a zero gapps crosshatch build or a ninja tool to assassinate away the inflicted gapps?

"Just don't use the gapps" is just not good enough ;)

thanks

I dont understand this notice
Prerequisites
You should be using the most current factory image from Google (crosshatch).
You need to follow this guide to unlock your bootloader and install TWRP (3.2.3-2 or above required)

First time installation :
1. Flash this boot.img in fastboot: https://sourceforge.net/projects/boo...t.img/download
2. Then issue command: fastboot reboot recovery
3. Use volume keys to scroll and use power button to select Apply update with adb.
4. issue command: adb sideload /path/to/ROM.zip
5. Enjoy the Bootleggers ROM.

Install not need TWRP, why it still need TWRP in Prerequisites. Android 10 cant flash twrp. The guide is not good for newbie...

Like other ROM, Active Edge and Pixel Stand special features (except fast charge) aren't working because sources are closed off by Google but all other Pixel stuff works well.

Just to keep everyone up to date. Squid abandoned our team for reasons unknown. This thread will close and I will take over building in which I will start a new thread for each device, may just do a combined thread for p3/p3xl... thoughts!? I have some test builds up now for anyone looking to be on the latest and greatest PM me. Until I can make a new thread. Thanks for your patience!

that's not the way we do that here.
We boot twrp from fastboot and then flash the zip within the bootable twrp.
Flashing twrp from fastboot has not been proven to be successful.

Also, i'm back on stock now, had to use the flashall.bat :\

I just described all the steps that I used to flash the ROM and it is working for me and for the people that tested with me. You should give it a try.

Think we can possibly get this rom working on the pixel 3? I would love to test.

Yes I can build it for Pixel 3 (blueline) if you want it, I will do it when I have some spare time. :)
