i beg to differ Verizon pixel3xl can in fact be unlocked ive just found it guys!!!!! no spam no l will make sure this is no fluke im going to reset both devices and do it again this is for a fact a verizon device i have two devices both pixel3xl both verizon .if this is it i have found a way around verizon lock!!! this is so exciting!!! will post a video this afternoon.

Meid or esn? First 4 of imei is 3583 thats my first pixel3xl.... first 4 of serial for 2nd pixel is 936Y and first 4 of meid is 9900

im now relocking and im going to reset my older device and populate it and do the routine again and record it next time i post it will be a video of the change itself so you can see but not the method as i need to check with another of my sources first but you will definately see a production build with greyed out oem become active blue oem

My family has cycled thru about 10 Pixel 3-XL's since it was released. All Verizon models.
3 of them were unlockable when first attempted. Guessing some got thru without the VZN
bootloader lock, not that someone found a way to unlock a locked one.

    Bootleggers ROM is an aftermarket firmware based on AOSP with some patches and fixes from LineageOS and various other projects. The idea is to bring custom features and some of the most useful apps on your device, with the goal of Making you feel like 家.

    Like other ROM, Active Edge and Pixel Stand special features (except fast charge) aren't working because sources are closed off by Google but all other Pixel stuff works well.


    Flashing instructions

    Prerequisites
    You should be using the most current factory image from Google (crosshatch).
    You need to follow this guide to unlock your bootloader and install TWRP (3.2.3-2 or above required)

    --

    First time installation :
    1. Flash this boot.img in fastboot: https://sourceforge.net/projects/bootleggersrom/files/builds/crosshatch/boot.img/download
    2. Then issue command: fastboot reboot recovery
    3. Use volume keys to scroll and use power button to select Apply update with adb.
    4. issue command: adb sideload /path/to/ROM.zip
    5. Enjoy the Bootleggers ROM.

    Just to keep everyone up to date. Squid abandoned our team for reasons unknown. This thread will close and I will take over building in which I will start a new thread for each device, may just do a combined thread for p3/p3xl... thoughts!?     I just described all the steps that I used to flash the ROM and it is working for me and for the people that tested with me. You should give it a try.
