Thank you for your work, short feedback: is the Bluetooth issue solved? The version from the 13/07 had a couple of issues, like browser hanging, android auto did not launch with cable connection and the already mentioned Bluetooth issue. 22nd version still had the Bluetooth issue (for me), whereas android auto works fine again. Had less problems with your unofficial version

For bt fixing disable a2dp offload in dev settings
Will try to disable by default in next build

hi everyone, i just ordered a Mi Pad 4 wifi version and according to the seller it is using Global Rom which i assume it is already bootloader unlocked.

i wan to flash carbon ROM on my Mi Pad 4, may i know what is the actual procedure if the bootloader is already unlocked?

1. do i need to link my Mi account first before trying to flash carbon ROM?
2. if it is already bootloader unlocked, do i straight away flash the ROM following the instructions in this thread or are there anything that i need to do first?

To be honest it's been absolutely ages since I updated or flashed a different rom on my mi pad 4. Been running Carbon rom for a long time now without issue. But, I'm pretty sure when you get your mi pad you'll need to update to the latest firmware first. Grabbed a link for you but to be honest I can't recall which firmware I'm running and if the thread still shows latest. You'll have to have a search about for latest if the link is outdated.

And yeah, pretty sure you'll need to sign in to your mi account at some point when updating, maybe even on the rom it comes with. Sorry dude, I really can't remember now as it's been so long since I flashed a xiaomi.

After flashing latest firmware (+ twrp) you'll need to boot into twrp and wipe cache, data and dalvic. Don't wipe vendor as this will wipe the essential firmware that you just flashed and is required as a base for you custom rom (carbon)

I just install this rom last weeks, everything worked perfectly. Until today, the system claims the storage is full, when I can see there is 19Gb left. I can't install app, nor download anything. Any Idea of the problem ?

hmm..i read that global rom/vendor rom usually dont have update.
i cant directly flash twrp + carbon rom onto it straight out of the box?

As far as I recall, there is NO official global rom for mi pad 4. There are only fake roms advertised as global because they have eng language. Like I say, I can't recall which EU is latest, so you'll have check but latest maybe found on the links provided before. I wouldn't trust the fake roms either, xiaomi.eu is far more trusted, plus, if you didn't want to flash a custom rom and stick with miui the EU roms have a ton of bloatware removed.

The problem with the browser was solved as I understand it. But why not solve the problem with the display of all satellites? Now it shows only gps and glonass and this is half of the possible .. you did it before! Good luck!

I had little time to test the firmware. I did not notice any problems with the browser. My priority is to show satellites. I use my tablet as an auto navigator

I was just letting you know that the browser issue is present. I don't use the gps of the tablet so my priority is to solve the browser...
