Just want to ask:
If there is no change related to clover in daily changelog between the release dates of two weekly roms, can i skip the weekly update?

Hi there, first of all, many thanks for supporting Clover.

The problem I'm having is that standby battery drain is fairly high, ~5% loss after 7 hours standby with WiFI and Bluetooth disabled. I've read a lot in this thread about the governor making a big difference, but would that affect standby/sleep battery usage as well? I had similar results with crDroid and vanilla LineageOS too. Only ArrowOS appears to be significantly better (0% drop after 7 hours), and others have had the same experience. Specifically, this higher standby drain problem appears to only happen on WiFI-only miPad 4 models, as LTE users report very good battery consumption rates.

Since LineageOS is very vanilla and yet it also has this same issue, I suspect this problem must be something very low-level, like the kernel config or the governor used. Could you possibly try using the kernel from ArrowOS in a test build to see if that fixes it?

Yeah, I was asking myself the same question. No weekly for over a month. Does this mean the end of support from Carbon?

Yes Google Play Store says it's incompatible ... same with at least one other apps i want to use on the mi pad 4 :

Does anybody can install these 2 apps with carbonROM (latest, CARBON-CR-8.0-PAX-RELEASE-clover-20210220-1501) and FlameGapps (FlameGApps-10.0-full-arm64-20210306) ?

Reflashing February release gets everything back to normal.
It's the first time this happened after updating regularly since last summer.

I also updated to the March release, but I had no problems. The most obvious difference to your setup is that I haven't installed Magisk.

The lastest weekly working just fine on my mi pad 4 plus. Even the home-button and fingerprint work fine. Great work.

One thing that does not work is saftynet. I use Magisk and even with the latest canary build and magisk hide and magisk props (Set to Xiaomi A2 in the past worked) worked.

The Pad passes the basic test but not the cts.

Does anybody know how to fix ?

I just followed system update to flash 20210420, but after reboot, it automatically reboot into TWRP and cannot boot normally. I re-flash my previous rom 20210321, it's still the same, always boot into TWRP.

Now I don't know what to do, obviously I do not want to have a format/wipe, 'cos I did not back up this time. The last two updates I had were very smooth and automatic.

Please kindly advise.

Thanks for your reply. Yes, I had Magisk, but there was no problem on my previous 2 updates, so I had no idea what the problem is.

After some trials and errors, I used fastboot to reflash boot.img, twrp, then wipe system, dalvik and cache... and flash the latest carbonrom and gapps, and finally i could boot normally. Luckily data remains intact. (except it asks me to format my external sd card, like first time carbonrom is installed).

Glad to hear you could sort out the problems. Magisk sometimes causes problems when updating, that's why I was asking.

Hi All, two questions, my device MI Pad 4 Plus.
can't install Magisk on the latest May 20 release of Carbonrom. System does not show even bootanimation after installation of Magisk in twrp. With April release no any problem.
Question #2. Is it possible some how add here smart charging?
