Please unpack the file and put the file in /vendor/bin and replace the old one

After that deep sleep should be fixed
WOW! Great work! Will test more overnight but deep sleep is already used according to cpuspy! Better and faster service than on a 5-star hotel =)!

I think I may have spotted another bug; I have auto brightness on, but it seems it regularly reverts the slider position to 15%....I thought it was supposed to stay at whatever I set it, but then adjust temporarily according to ambient light and not affect the slider position? Anyone else having this problem?

Thats a feature of pie. It was introduced on pixel pie release and now available on aosp source. We can not revert back to old one. I prefered the old brightness setting too

Ah, I didn't know that, thanks. I read a bit about it now and there's supposed to be an AI behind it that learns the users preferences so hopefully it'll get smarter soon..=)

Deployed, overwrote existing file inside twrp. Had to mount system. Monitoring later tonight or overnight.

Thanks

EDIT:
Hm. Maybe I didn't do it correctly. Mine is still draining a few % per hour.

hello i have a problem with this Rom.I flashed it following all the steps above but, when i reboot MI pad 4,it shows to me a black screen where is written "to start android, insert the password".In 5 seconds, the tablet restart itself and return to the Twrp Recovery in Mount-Decrypt Data page. I can't understand which is the problem....

Yes, same here @rcstar6696, was thrilled to see that it went into deep sleep and stayed there most of the time while unused, but even then it seems the overnight battery usage is almost the same as when it wasn't in deep sleep. Let me know if I can help (what logs/how to get them etc). Thanks again!

Which CPU task is causing the battery draining? (sounds like a spying remote access task (or a keylogger) to me)
What happens if this task is removed?
If it's not possible to remove it, then is it possible to replace it with another one doing the same thing (if it's not a spying task) but less draining?
What happens if this task is replaced by an idle task doing nothing?

yeah understand ur point but we are here saying this because this is not normal power consumption.
may i ask how much screen on time you have with ur device? if it's 4-5 hrs than it's not normal too. usually for mipad4 it should last 8-10hrs, i have reached 11hrs on unofficial linageos 16 first build.

and usually the device dont consume so much battery % in a few hours,
i was getting 1% drain for 2hrs standby on MIUI9/10,
with carbon, i am getting 4-5% drain for 2hrs standby, gappless. no google play services.

just here to help, not create problems for you sir.

Yes I know how to use adb or terminal and root, but I don't know what logs are interesting...The application I develop at work has several hundreds of log modules to enable/disable and set verbosity, and that's "just a program" and this is an entire OS so just wanted to know how to get the most useful logs.

I've tried a simple adb logcat, let me know if it helps or if there is any particular log i should get and how.

Edit: So hmm ok, how do I paste files here?
Edit2: Pastebin complains about too large log and xda email-button to op won't open my email client but just a simple text gui on the page without attachment option...OP, if you DM me where to send the log (or how to attach it to a post here, I've seen others do it?)
