I tried latest build but unfortunately it was extremely laggy on my device (64/4gb Global MI A2 converted to 6X). Benchmarks were generally better than in stock pie, but random read/write & sqlite speeds were much slower. I tried different kernels and flashed it couple of times dirty and clean but unfortunately it was still very choppy experience. I'll give it another try in the future, maybe I need to use different TWRP(used one in the OP) or any other suggestions?

Strange, for me everything is smooth and fluid. If you are using magisk, please try to enable core only mode in magisk, and reboot...

I tried with and without magisk and results were same but after clean flashing it one more time with nano gapps instead of pico the UI is much more fluid. But still I think scrolling and animations are bit choppy and phone is less unresponsive while multitasking compared to stock pie/MIUI 10. Random read/write speeds are still way below 10mb/s while sequential speeds are highest(280&220mb/s) I ever recorded on this phone.
But anyhow I really like this rom and I'm gonna keep it as my daily driver at least for a while and try different scenarios and maybe I'll figure what is causing the lagginess.

Battery on this ROM is on par with Pie stock, standby time is awesome. You can achieve from 6-7h SOT.

Today I also noticed, that there's "wah wah"-effect when listening music on low volume via speaker. Official Pixel Experience for Mi6x also had the same bug.

how to install viper for this rom?
its say "install driver failed because your rom not support"

I've been struggling with the same issue, but finally I was able to solve it.
Rename audio_effects.conf & audio_output_policy.conf to audio_effects.conf.bak & audio_output_policy.conf.bak. They are located in the root/vendor/etc. After that just flash newest module with magisk.
I have also disabled vanilla music, incase just renaming those two files doesn't help.
I also had to install Audio Modifications library to get V4A to process bluetooth.
