Ohhh okay, I'll wait for it! Good job by the way! it's the first time since I bought the Mi Mix 3 (and then this 5G version) I find the phone on the same battery level as when I left it to go to sleep. The ROM is so smooth and fast, I love it!

This is by far my favorite rom, so smooth and the battery life is great. If the video recording works, then it will be perfect. Is the fix for this coming soon?

I absolutely agree. The ROM is damn smooth and the battery life is great. This thing about missing codecs is quite important, but still, I love it.

Tempted to try this rom, coming from miui 10 hows the battery life is is worse, same or better? Do banking apps work? Does this rom have widevine level 1? Does the front selfie light work? Would appreciate if someone whose used the rom or the op answers these questions.

Everything you are asking for working works except selfie light ?, however tbh I am not sure, I didn't even know it was a feature in the phone, till recently LMAO but it should be working. It's 10x better than miui 10 for sure

5G actually might be working, i just cannot test it , hence the options on the first post, someone who lives in a 5g area , please test lol, after a few tests I can confirm it does NOT work

LTE+ can produce speeds of up to 1000mbps however this is NOT 5g. Regardless, average 5g speeds are 200-300 in my area, however my point is that it does not mean you are getting 5g it means you are getting LTE+?

There is a difference although not noticeable in speed to the consumer.

Well this phone was sold as 5g phone go talk to Xiaomi and make them change the name to "mi mix 3 LTE+" I am saying it's 5g to make the basic user understand, thank you!

No offense intended, I am merely explaining that LTE+ is not the same as 5g despite producing impressive speeds which are similar to the national average 5g speeds (at least here in the UK).

I do not know the technical specifications of your ROM but I do know that LTE+ and 5G are different standards however you claim 5g IS working and that it is the symbol displayed that is incorrect. This might influence someone's decision whether to install this ROM or not, can any real world users test/confirm whether 5g is actually working on this ROM?

Well this phone is unable to get the 5g your talking about it since it can't even get that in stock, sd 855 was rushed especially the 5g modem , since it's not actually 5g but LTE+ at incredible speeds, if you want a proper phone with 5g get it with SD 865 also a phone that has NOT been abandoned by Xiaomi where you are more likely to have more stability over the modem too

Really? Then it has that on custom too, there is no 5g icon on aosp, not yet anyway, it hasn't been implemented properly

Memui camera is not ported...pain in the ass....gcam well who's going to make a fully working one on this device? ?? Kek, however you are provided with snap camera from lineage which inkypen prefers so that's how it stays
