i just flashed the Sph-L720T rom version of lollipop onto my Sph-l720 it is much smoother .
cons:
there is no wifi and i am only able to connect to 3g.
Pros:
videos online/offline do not freeze what so ever .

i am on t-mobile

i just figured out the problem.

it is the kernel. i just flashed back to sph l720 od2 and i flashed the sph l720T kernel and video does not freeze. but i am still not getting wifi though i am getting hspa+.

Yeah, I'm still learning kernels, I have both of them and I'm going to see if I can find some common ground so both groups can use all ROMs.

If you are referring to my stock rooted L720T rom, it contains an L720T bootloader and should not be flashed on any other variant.

i already flashed it 3 times on to my sph-l720, then i flashed kitkat ng2 . After that i flashed the sph-l720 rom back on to my phone. My phone is completely fine, it did not harm my phone in any way.

Both models seem to be very similar which is fortunate and may even use the same BL, idk. But definately not a recommended practice to flash other variant BL.

the only thing that happens when i flash the tri-band rom onto my phone is warranty bit: kernel other then that, the recovery lock feature and tri-band features, both roms are fairly similar. anyway thanks for looking out.

Two issues I have found.

Blocking mode.
When setup to only block at certain times (11pm to 7am) it continues to block at all times.
This is also an issue with jtash01's rom. May be a lollipop bug.

Alarms:
Snoozed alarms stick in notification tray and cannot be dismissed.

Install method:
Installed with ODIN and parts of rom were missing. Clean flash using TWRP.
Full wipe and re-install did not fix the issues.

Everything else seems solid.

Thanks for the great ROM!

Edit: Custom notifications seem finicky too, I've moved them from the sd card to local storage
/storage/sdcard0/Notifications/
/system/media/audio/notifications

Neither of them worked.

followed both methods word to word but my wifi just wont work. i was using a stock 4.4.2 before and everything was fine. But now i am not even able to restore my backup of old version. Tried some other roms like wicked but wifi is not working. everything else seems fine.
Any solutions ?
p.s used twrp for flashing zip and odin 3.07 for flashing modem and kernal.

Hey guys first post since gnex days, flashed last night no wifi, flashed the modem separately twice and although twrp says flash successful, still no wifi.... other than that GREAT ROM!

Ps. Came from pacman rom didn't like losing all s4 features with it so tried to go back to stock(I think) 4.4.2 kk recovery, everything stops running after boot, no lock screen or anything, so I was more than happy to get them back at only wifi cost but plz help can't rely on data outside of my city!

Is it possible to revert back to NG2/Kitkat from this rom if you have updated modem/firmware?

Bluetooth seems to be almost completely broken for 5.x with most car stereos.

There is a google bug report about it, but i can't post outside links

.

Mine too, but I was getting 20+ hours on KitKat and I have already tweaked Lollipop. Believe me, I know what I'm doing. Lollipop eats more battery even when sleeping. Yes, it will probably get better as we learn to tweak it better, but it has gotten worse with every Android version. The batteries have gotten better but they still end up lasting about the same amount of time. I mean the more "smart" features implemented, the more resources, it's just the way it is. I just noticed quite a significant difference.

I have a Anker 5200 mAh and wasn't happy with the drain, along with a few other issues and that's why Im back on NG2 and getting 4 days on it again instead of less than 2 and that was with disabling a ton of stuff.

And not sure who said it now, but they mentioned about 3 party apps and that's not it either, because my buddy has the same setup as me and was having the same exact problems and that was straight up stock and gave it 4 days to see if it would settle down.

Also rolled back to ng2 and 4.4. bluetooth issues were just to much to deal with.

Great rom . Android 5.x issues aren't the fault of the rom maker.
I have not heard anyone post about bluetooth issues on this build. I would be interested in hearing if others are also having bluetooth issues.
