Trying to generate a deodexed version of the ROM

Hello muniz_ri, I have used archikitchen to generate a working folder for the rom and the JoelDroidLollipopBatchDeodexer to convert /system/app; /system/priv-app; and the system/framework to deodexed version of the rom. However, the archikitchen generated zip gets stuck in the Samsung boot logo. Is there something missing in your rom that is preventing me from making a deodexed version of the ROM using Archikitchen? I noticed there is no cache.img in your zip.

This MFer right here.
It will not go away.
Flashed stock, Stock rooted, restored my original stock and this thing will not leave.
No idea where it came from or how to stop it.
Wait a minute. If this is ZACT Mobile how the heck did it get on my device?
This is a Sprint S4 L720.

factory wipe, cache wipe and internal wipe and no way this can happen. if necessary copy everything off your EXSD card to your PC and format it as well.

That's the thing. I wiped everything even did a data wipe three times in between flashes.
Used Odin and Mobile app from chainfire.
This app keeps coming back.
Gonna try it again.

Hotspot tether

I've tried using the hotspot tether zip. It seems to install fine, but when I try to use the hotspot it tells me that I'm not subscribed to the service.

This worked great, awesome job!

I'm on OD2 everything except for the bootloader which i'm keeping at MF9 to avoid the Knox counter crap (not that it really matters anymore, lol).

I used these steps.

1. Power down then boot into Download mode (from NG2).

2. Flash just the OD2 modem first. Restarted phone and checked in Settings to make sure the modem flash stuck (it did). Wifi didnt work, as expected.

3. Power down, Download, and flashed your tar.

4. Back into Download & flashed stock recovery.

5. Booted into stock Recovery & performed factory reset.

6. Booted phone & after about 5 minutes, into Lollipop with Root & wifi working.

Still MF9 bootloader & Knox 0x0.

Thx again!

SAME ISSUE: then I remembered that i used a utility to change CSC from SPR to XAS so i could work/change my APN's. changing it back required clean clean install. a multi-rom on initial boot into bootloader on bottom left of screen shows what is any changes are being made to the CSC settings. Believe SPR should be in all it's normal places when updating official/0r semi official updates.
then again i could be completely mistaken...

If anyone gets ZACT errors, delete the folder in /root/carrier that is where they hid it. Reboot as soon as you delete or it will come back.. After reboot you may have to disable it and reboot again.
That fixed it for me. Tricky where they hid it.

This process works just fine for those who want to stay on the MF9 bootloader and Knox free, while updating everything else to OD2. I downloaded, extracted, flashed via Odin and then rebooted and verified I was OD2 for everything but the bootloader. Still on MF9
