I'm on the 14 septembre build and have multiple problems with double sim behavior. Every time I restart the phone the second sim card is activated again even though I deactivated it. Sometimes the first Sim disconnects even though the second one is deactivated. Volte worked only when I physically removed the second sim.

@palaych first of all thank you for all your hard work and also thank you to all arrow os team members.

I wanted to report a bug that I've noticed lately, probably after the latest update. The phone randomly reboots, what I've noticed is that the power button stops responding (screen does respond to touches) and then the phone reboots. Please see if this can be fixed.

Open question for everyone - An issue that I'm facing is with gcam ports not being able to record video. Any idea what could be the problem?

Hey I love this ROM but surprisingly I'm noticing idle battery drain increasing over time. I flashed Sept 14 version a few days ago. The first few days, battery drain over night seemed very good at less than 1% or at most 1%. But then a day or two later the drain was about 2% overnight. And then yesterday and day before it was about 5% overnight, I believe. Why is this happening?

I checked in GSam Battery monitor app and nothing seems to be acting weird or draining battery excessively.

How do I make sure my phone's battery life is good and I don't have strange idle battery drain?

Anyone having problems with slow wake up?
the phone starts rining, but by the time i see the button to pick up at least 5 seconds are getting past...
latest update, latest EU firmware...
This isn't a new problem. Had the same problem with miui and still having the same issue with arrow os. I'm guessing it has something to do with the firmware.

@palaych should we start using the latest firmware 12.5.4?

I'm a bit confused with this one. I need to install magisk, and if i'm not mistaken the F3 has an A/B partition system so

to install the patched magisk img i should do:

    fastboot flash boot_a boot.img
    fastboot flash boot_b boot.img

But when i do that, the rom gets stuck on the loading arrow logo.

Should i just patch it with:

    fastboot flash boot boot.img ?

Edit: Actually no, that gives the same result, stuck on the loading arrow logo.

Can anyone explain how to install the patched magisk file on this one ?
You can do this an easier way. Just use the Magisk installable zip file you can find in the internet. To do this, use TWRP (link to detailed instruction is in the first post) via "fastboot boot <twrp img file>", then simply install the zip. I did it this way and... it just works.

This method didn't help, still exactly the same result, stuck at the arrow loading logo... :(
    I really wish i didn't need magisk :/

Edit: Did it with flashboot boot_ab and it works like a charm, thanks for your help :)

I've been using this ROM for a few weeks and it's great but I noticed a couple of things and have tried to fix them.

The phone doesn't always go into full suspend mode because there's an misconfigured interrupt from the always on processor.
    This should fix it:
    https://github.com/dzo/android_kernel_xiaomi_alioth/commit/7ee79cda883ec09c69ba03d18d1be34291077442

The display doesn't go into low power mode when the always on display is enabled. There's also a clock with the wrong name in the device tree.
Here's a quick fix for both those things:
    https://github.com/dzo/android_kernel_xiaomi_alioth/commit/8ac729b52ea721a419b5dd7f21eaa829675b925b

Attached is a zip containing a new boot.img and also a new dtbo.img, the dtbo isn't really necessary but I updated it to match the panel settings in the stock MIUI tree. In a dark room, the always on display might be quite bright but it's actually using less power than it used to.

You can check the power usage with the display off by connecting adb over wifi and looking for lines like this in the kernel messages:

    <12>[ 309.495162] healthd: battery l=78 v=4129 t=31.5 h=2 st=3 c=40039 fc=4568000 cc=14 chg=

It's the c= number that's important, this is the power consumption. With the display off it's about 17K, with the display in low power mode it's about 40K and without my fixes it was over 100K with AOD on.

flash from fastboot (not recovery) with:

    fastboot flash boot boot.img
    fastboot flash dtbo dtbo.img

This boot.img is patched with magisk, has root and should pass safetynet.

You can also try the kernel out using:

    fastboot boot boot.img

Unplug usb quickly after it says it's booting or it will just show a charging icon. This won't modify your system, just reboot to go back to the original kernel.

All this should be quite stable but because the system wasn't previously going into suspend it might show up other bugs in some drivers. Use at your own risk!
