I have the same problem. Very odd behaviour. Sometimes during a call. Even when my screen is locked it goes crazy and tries to unlock my phone.

Glad im not the only one altough i didnt see anyone complaining about this on xda when its really major problem thats happening on both stock and custom roms. I m pretty sure its started happening after i updated to android 11... I also tried downgrading to android 10 but i still had the same problem on LOS 17.1

I never had this strange problem.
But I can recall that a few years ago, when I had another phone, people started complaining about ghost touches.
After the discussion about it, the conclusion was a bad quality of tempered glass that was responsible for that.
Check about it. Check your tempered glass that you choose. Check anything extra you use for screen protection, even a case,if you use.

Yep that also came up during my search for solutions but i dont use tempered glass, its definietly software related. What version of firmware are you using?

Camera is ok. If you want a better one, there are GCam mods available or ANX camera (port of stock MIUI camera).

I use Magisk for ANX camera (which I think is better and more stable than GCam) and AOSP dialer (alternative to Google Phone) to record all calls.
Does AOSP dialer have an option to automatically record calls?

Here you go:

Flash it in Magisk, follow the on screen instructions (Vol+, Vol- etc)

Restart

Make AOSP dialer your default app for phone calls

Give AOSP dialer all permissions

Enjoy

After following these steps and rebooting I don't see AOSP dialer in the system and the default application crashes, what could be the issue? I have vanilla build with microg.
No new app appers, I don't know why, maybe someone has a guess, is there a port missing or something?

But I found an installation of AOSP dialer (install via magisk too) that works, v23, maybe someone will find it helpful.

FROM THE MODERATOR: Posts like this only drives more developers away. Instead of whining or griping about what you would like to see ....Try making your own ROM, then maintain it and answer every question someone who does not understand what it takes to make a ROM. In other words, show us your skills other than running your mouth and complaining. Remember, Everyone in XDA is here doing what they do for free.

Legion 3.8,,, the only rom I've been back to for 4 months, no one can make a rom, I'm watching the developers with amazement fxy.011 kernel is successful, every time you play it starts great. Will corvus and miui swell in 15 days, there is no rom to install, wouldn't it be nice if the developers gathered under the same roof? ? ? ? Ok, when I install it, a light rom comes out, but the phone turns itself off, this problem is not solved. I get very good performance especially without using pubg modules. The groups that make modules are total bullshit, they eat the device's brain, please stop making roms every day, something is done, the other is broken, I loaded 80 roms, I'm fed up, legion developer you really know this but you quit. also poco x3 nfc

dear moderator, I downloaded about 80 roms, you thought I didn't report any bugs, but the developers make free mistakes, but even though we always say there are more than enough different bugs, the problems have become unbearable at night, I find my phone turned off in the morning, I agree to worry in an emergency, do you think it's possible? Is this a bug and I'm just observing this problem on aroow os, if you wish, we voluntarily test it by doing a survey, how many people continue without error on 1 rom for more than 1 month and are satisfied?

Funny fact. Mine had the same problem. I went mental about it. Sometimes even things were deleted.
The only thing that's different now, besides that I don't have the problem anymore, is that I don't use a protector at the moment and I installed "Touch Improvements" Magisk module of AkiraSuper.
Maybe it's only the module doing it's job, who knows. Need to try that out.

Only you seem to have this bug. I have been following this thread for a few months and I don't remember anyone complaining about a sudden shutdown in the middle of the night.

I'm using the 20210601 for 4 months now and have absolutely 0 bugs. Everything works for me.

No. Clean flash is a must. And latest brigudav TWRP which has working A12 encryption.
Ouch! I don't really look forward to a clean flash, it's my daily driver and some secure apps don't really like it (they think it's a different device), but I might try it sometime in the near future.

Is there any list of known issues? Something to be especially aware of?

Also, as far as I understood from another thread, the latest brigudav's TWRP only works if no PIN / Password is set? Hopefully we'll get a fully working version soon.

Does anyone have snapchat show up as an option when sharing stuff?
I've never even had snapchat, it's not installed...nothing... it's very weird
    Screenshot_20211110-015105.png

I have just seen that there are A12 official builds on the website... are there news on this that I have missed?

What is the status? Can it be flashed dirty over A11? I know TWRP might be an issue, but what other problems can be expected?

Flashed it yesterday, coming from MIUI 12.5. Love it. So nice that the mi sound enhancer option is still there! Works smooth. Only bug I noticed is the screen flickering when the brightness is set to manual on the lowest option. Thank you very much for maintaining this rom. I will update to 12 when its official :)

So I know there's been a lot of complaints about this phone and the Ghost Touch issue. I assumed these ROMs wouldn't have this issue as they don't have the MIUI components.

Sitting using my phone last night it went completely nuts and screens started flashing up constantly. I held in the power button to hard power off.

Has anyone else experienced anything like this?

try to disable the automatic change of the display-Hz, and set it to a stable , let say 60Hz or 120Hz.
Some people solved the problem (me too) , just changing the lower value , and istead of 60Hz, we put 59Hz or 90Hz.
make some experiments and report pleasse.

    POCO X3 (NFC) (surya/karna)

Note: These are enforcing builds. Safety net checks pass out of the box! No need to flash magisk modules, which might in turn break the integrity!

Builds have been unified now under surya codename for both NFC and non-NFC variants

Tip: Select OEM -> Device, choose Arrow version, choose build type: "GAPPS" or "VANILLA" to download.

Latest Instructions for OSS builds (w.e.f 10/05/2021)

    • Download and copy arrow build to a OTG prendrive or sd card.
    • Now flash Arrow Vanilla/Gapps build.
    • FORMAT DATA. (You'll loose all your data!)
    • Reboot.
    Fresh install coming from MIUI
    • Flash latest available MIUI 11 if you aren't on it already.
    • Install any suitable recovery (mentioned below).
    • Download and copy arrow build to a OTG prendrive or sd card.

    TWRP Recovery by @brigudav :
Note: This build of twrp will support decryption on ArrowOS OSS builds.

    ArrowOS Recovery :
Note: This is a very basic aosp recovery only intended for OTA installs. Do NOT expect other functionalities.
    * Do not use with DFE or while unencrypted.
    F.A.Q :

    1. My WiFi, bluetooth and network aren't working after updating to OSS build?
    A. This happens if you're still on the old Q firmware. Flash the latest available R firmware and then follow the above give steps to properly flash the rom.

    2. Unable to update OTA's using TWRP?
    A. The current available recoveries are outdated and are no longer supported for OSS builds. To have a hassle free OTA experience use the above mentioned ArrowOS recovery.
    A. Two of the currently supported recoveries are mentioned above.

    Hello.

Does anyone have any working TWRP for Surya model ?

I see that the developer Brigudav seems to have given up on developing TWRP for Surya.

    TWRP by Brigudav Official website

So is there any replacement ?

    Thank you very much.
    Update -09
    14
So i haven't been around here for a while, after looking at the recent posts many seem to be confused, blaming and do not understand on migrating to OSS builds. In the final MIUI vendor builds the OTA functionality was blocked in order to prevent users from directly updating to OSS builds as it will be needing a MIUI 11 firmware followed by a clean flash. The same has been notified in our device changelogs. Every step and preventive measures have been taken, there's only much i can do from my side in clearing things up. We have this forum and community in place to help each other out, so lets not be pointing fingers here!

Here again i would like to make it clear with a simple guide on how to migrate onto OSS build!

Note: This update will require a CLEAN FLASH (format data), so please backup everything beforehand.
    • Flash the latest available MIUI 11 firmware. (Region doesn't matter!!)
    • Now flash Arrow Vanilla/Gapps build.
    • FORMAT DATA. (You'll loose all your data!)
    • Reboot.
Beware that the current available recoveries haven't been updated yet to support decryption for OSS builds at this point.
    13
Here are the instructions on how you should flash the new OSS Vendor ROM since most people here are confused:

    - Flash latest TWRP by brigudav
    - Flash Android 11 12.0.7 MIUI firmware
    - Reboot recovery
    - Format Data
    - Reboot recovery
    - Flash ArrowOS

    OPTIONAL:
    - Flash Magisk
    - Flash Gapps (If you're on Vanilla build & If you want custom gapps)

    - Reboot system

    Download link:
    - Firmware: https://xiaomifirmwareupdater.com/firmware/surya/stable/V12.0.7.0.RJGEUXM/
    - TWRP: You can find it on 4pda but you need an account. I'm not allowed to share it, so you have to get it yourself.

This firmware is for NFC model as I'm not sure where is A11 firmware for non-NFC model. It can possibly work for non-NFC model, feel free to try.
    10
Mission Impossible in all custom ROMs !

    1. Safetynet check the bootloader status and will automatically fail if magisk is not installed (Magisk Hide ON must be applied for this) !

    2. Furthermore, now you have to install the safetynet-fix module to make your banking apps working !

    3. Finally, you must hide Magisk Manager.apk with a random name too (Magisk Settings)
To everyone, please STOP this misconception about having the need to flash magisk in order to pass safety net. Do read the OP I've clearly mentioned there's no need of a magisk or modules for safety net. Device is certified and passes safety net out of the box without need of any modifications.

By improper usage of magisk and mods you're further complicating and breaking things when they're completely unnecessary which end up causing unrelated issues which you end up calling them rom source bugs ¯\(◉‿◉)/¯

P.S : I'm not against magisk, but when you do prefer using modifications do ask yourself on your needs and if you're able to rectify the issues it might generate. Isolate yourself from magisk or any form of modifications to recheck and confirm the issue before making a bug report.
