It must be hard for the devs to keep updating the repositories. Just be patient bro. It took me an hour to download the ROM.

It's weird that when notification pops up while I'm listening music in earphones, the speakers will then make sounds of the music. So my earphones and speakers together are now making the sound of the music that I'm hearing. This will be an issue if the user is going outdoors listening to music with wired earphones. It also seems to be an issue to some of the A11 ROMs as they also pointed out this issue.

Great job devs! It's an awesome ROM nonetheless.

Do heavy games have any problems with graphics or anything and is there a gaming mode by default? Thanks for the great ROM devs.. Appreciate all the hard work

And a little feature request... Can you please bring some filesystem supports to the kernel like ext4, ntfs, exfat 😊.

Does anyone have issues with Google Assistant? Activating Hey Google is greyed out... however, it works if you swipe up
@dcindallas I think it might be simply a gapps related problem. Happened to stumble upon it myself too once before. If your normally flashing nikgapps and it's basic/omni version (or whatever doesn't ship with google velvet) you need to separetely flash the Google Velvet addon. And if your flashing Full-Nikgapps then you need to enable installation of velvet in nikgapps.config file (if not enabled to value=1.) The voice-recognition functionality needs velvet.
Download it Here:

@Sahil_Sonar I wanted to ask if your currently thinking about adding the ANXcamera185R in this ROM in future. I custom installed this via Magisk anyways. Main camera sensors are working fine except for the usual bugs like Portrait & Night Mode crash and 64MP not processing error. May get possibly fixed after MIUI android 11 release for Begonia later if we're lucky.
(The Anx Dev "Noid" told me in the telegram channel that they happened to take the 64MP libs from a begonia chinese beta rom build of A11. So, it's pretty much confirmed they won't be able to fix Portrait & Night except for the 64MP)
But for now as a Non-CFW build are u working on adding this like some other roms? I'm simply asking out of curiosity..

I cant install the latest miui fasboot rom because of anti rollback. Can you help me?
This is due to authentication problem. Try loging in with your Mi Account in the authentication option over the top ribbon on MiFlash App and see if the flash works after.
If not then follow the procedure below.
You First need to download and install MiFlashPro app. Then,
1. Open app
2. Login with Mi Account
3. Select option for MiFlash
4. Select the ROM file and flash.
This is basically the same thing but it works better always. Make sure all the files of MiflashPro, MiFlash, SP Flash tool are all in same directory.

Since I am new to rom flashing, I have a couple of questions.
What is the difference between Cfw and non-Cfw roms,do they offer anything new? And how do you change from a Cfw rom to a non-cfw.

Basically, cfw is a way to prevent your phone from being bricked if you do something wrong when you start flashing different roms. It's nice to have that protection (there is a process you need to go through before you start flashing cfw roms)
But now, there is a new method to unbrick our note 8 pro so cfw roms will probably start to disappear.

Hey, I just wiped data/dalvik cache etc. and installed this rom and gapps without installing MIUI 12 firmware. I don't know how to do it using TWRP and can't find any tutorial.

Before this rom I had Extended Pixel Experience ROM on CFWv4

If you want to flash MIUI12 firmware first: (even though it's not part of the instructions)

I actually downloaded the latest MIUI recovery rom (not just the firmware) and flashed it in recovery, then flashed this ROM.

Just put it on your external sd card, reboot to recovery, select install, choose the file, and install.

    What's working?
    Code:
    - Camera - Camcorder : Working - all camera sensors
    - Sensors : Working

Are you sure the Front Camera works on the newer hardware versions??
I don't see any specific Kernel commits that would indicate the problem is now resolved unless your own kernel versions has updated/ported the camera driver ?
Please bare us newer device owners in mind when releasing firmwares and state in the OP if the firmware supports our device's camera or not.
Great work and THANKS! for supporting this great phone 👏👏

There is MediaTek/Mi kernel source for the s5k3t2 using sunny or ofilm lenses but maybe they could work with other lenses IDK maybe some trial and error is needed. s5k3t2sunnymipiraw & s5k3t2ofilmmipiraw https://github.com/MiCode/Xiaomi_Ke...ivers/misc/mediatek/imgsensor/src/common/v1_1
